With a few exceptions, this thread has produced some interesting responses. Interesting to know that some will hide behind the 'courts' in order to avoid having a conversation with themselves.
I hope that all the men on this forum will truly ask whether or not it is ok to be silent and acquiesce to this horrific decision, or if it may be beneficial to speak their minds if they disagree and do something to save a life.

Hi citi. That wasn't me earlier and I haven't had time to read all the posts here. But I'd say this: If I had sex with the woman with the intention and agreement on the pregnancy then I'd want a say in it. My say would consist of my words to her as an appeal, not getting a court to force her to experience childbirth if she doesn't want to. If she aborted it I'd appeal that she do it very early on.

I think anti-choicers go wrong by saying a 2hour old fertilized egg is a baby. They just are not the same to me. Although I understand such an egg has two components it's still not much more significant than an unfertilized egg. I see no "harm" in terminating early.

Do you think religious married women have a "right" to an equal sayso in the disposition of their husband's sperm?
