It's wrong in your eyes not mine. I don't believe in late term abortions, but I do believe in abortions in the case of rape and incest or in a case that a women would die. Don't believe in abortion used for birth control, but I haven't walked a mile in these womens shoes to judge. Don't want to see any women going back to the 50's and having to abort using a coat hanger and yes that did happen.

Don't believe in abortion used for birth control, but I haven't walked a mile in these womens shoes to judge. Don't want to see any women going back to the 50's and having to abort using a coat hanger and yes that did happen. Honey and sweetie are slang words. I'm not using them to get a rise out of you despite your protestations that they don't. That being said, how nice it is of you to elaborate and how glad I am that you did. My opposition of abortion isn't an indictment against women, in fact it's in support of women and of making the fabric of this nation stronger by not succumbing to our worst and most devolved selves. Whether or not I've walked in any woman's shoes is irrelevant~I think we can all appreciate the agony that an unplanned pregnancy brings. I think we can agree that it's a difficult decision. You make several distinctions with regard to abortion and your reasons for supporting it. Now I know we'll have a battle about facts, but let me give you this and the website. Don't know the affiliation, but it's a start: On average, women give at least three reasons for choosing abortion: three-fourths say that having a baby would interfere with work, school, or other responsibilities; about two-thirds say they cannot afford a child; and half say they do not want to be a single parent or are having problems with their husband or partner. About 13,000 women have abortions each year following rape or incest Read more: Abortion in the United States — Infoplease.com http://www.infoplease.com/ipa/A0904509.html#i... Do these reasons appeal at all to your sense that abortion rationalization has become something other than what you thought it was? Your fears about women who are raped and are victims of incest aren't unfounded, but let me ask you-why do all the other children have to be sacrificed, in order to protect this minority (and I'm speaking statistically) of women? Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying they should suffer, I'm asking if there's room for you to be open to the possibility that the current law as it stands, allows for gross injustice against the unborn, in an attempt to provide for the EXCEPTIONS. Can we still talk? :) citi

What in the hell do "abortions" and "children" have to do with each other? Nothing. citi wrote: <quoted text> Honey and sweetie are slang words.
