Brit writes "your" the same way that Emily from the "men these days" post does. Which one are you? Brit or Emily? Or don't you know?

Brit? What are you babbling about? Are you saying Dave was your man? And lived a double life. Or are you talking about some other dude and if so how does it relate. You've got me confused.

Dave spinelli was a good friend. Met with several friends of his today who will always regret not being there to help stop this.

That is a shame! Wish I could have done something to help. He will always be remembered by myself and his All Army wrestling pals as a good guy. Life can really do a number to anyone. R.I.P. old buddy!

It is so sad I went to school with one of his brothers. Not only am I heart broken for his family. But being a coach in our community our youth looked up to him, I ofcourse don't know what he was up against and would never pretend that I do. My prayer is that his young children and youth that he coached receive the strong message that this is not the way to handle problems, fustrations, depression, anxiousness or simply not having the answers. God bless the family, and please reach out to your Erie community, we care.

You seem informed and well reasoned--yet you're still a Catholic? What gives?(Other than Carol. Ba-zing!)

Carol is a crack whore that I married. I was born Jewish. I love Hitler books. I do not like minorities or gays or even Jews.
But enough, I think the real Stu Pedaso has probably pulled all his hair out by now, so it is with this post that I will stop heckling Stu the looser. Good night and good luck.

As I try and help my son (who wrestled for Dave) get through this, I find myself wondering what went wrong. I have had so many conversations with him about the wrestling team and admired how much the kids respected him and quickly gained control of themselves when he raised his voice just a little. My son is so broken hearted and keeps asking me the question that we all want to know the answer to "Why"?

My son is so broken hearted and keeps asking me the question that we all want to know the answer to "Why"? I'm truly sorry to hear about your son. The situation must be tough for both of you and you have my sympathy. But perhaps the question to ask isn't why but why not suicide? To quote from a favorite movie "life is full of pain, misery and cruelty beyond belief". Add to that people living the complicated crazy life and there you go. My advice would be to raise your son to be an optimist and a dreamer. It's the only defense against the world as it is. Oh, and don't let him on Topix ;)
