So the Grossman/Garvey ticket won. So how is our lives in Erie County going to be affected? He was already billigerent because the numbers had to be recounted and the absentees had to be hand counted. A temper tantrum before he even started. Oh boy.

A temper tantrum? Really? Already? I had to vote for him though it turned my stomach. It was a vote AGAINST the tires-to-energy plant, and there clearly was no other choice!

My predictions..(In random order.)

1) He throws a tantrum every single time Council dissents from his opinion.

2) Taxes SKYROCKET over the Community College,911 Center "fixes", etc.

3) Finally, he resigns before the end of his term or gets thrown out of office after he runs Erie County into the rocks.

The county executive makes NO decisions affecting the tires to energy plant. You were hoodwinked by a shyster.

It's time to start showing up at county council meetings.
20 people at the meeting will intimidate, 200 people will make them crap their pants.
BTW, If Ebert Beeman needs a ride to council meetings, let me know.
Ol' Eb may be the only person in the county who will learn and report what's really going on behind closed doors. That's why Whitey Cleaver and "The godfather" fear him.

With any luck that criminal tax cheat be will jailed soon. Paying your lawfully levied taxes is your civic duty, and money spent on efforts to collect those funds represents a waste of everyone elses tax dollar.

I don't believe that the constitution says anywhere that we have to pay taxes....Beeman is right there is NO law...we are all just too chicken to try to get away with it like he has all of these years! Maybe our taxes should be placed back into the hands of the taxpayers....ya know like an escrow account for the funds to go. People could pay their taxes but just not to the county....the account would earn interest and couldn't be touched until County Council changes its way of doing business.....I know folks...Fantasy Land we are talking but it is fun to think about!:)

It does'nt say anything about motor vehicle regulations either but we still have them you dolt. It is an outline describing our system of governing, from which the lawful collection of taxes arises.

Beeman will be indicted before he even takes a seat on Council. He should have stayed quiet - now he has opened a can of worms steered by "bankrupt" Amidon (who doesn't pay his bills) and Pacileo (Marquette will get NO $$$) I sincerely think that Beeman will go to jail over his newly-formed popularity...as far as Leone, he's already "sleeping" with Grossman, Defazio, Mifsud, and DiNicola - all from Fiore's Ward. Fiore now owns the county...GOD - please forbid this!!!!!(I wonder how Shapiro got involved - Oh, the "brew" theory....

Well treehugger....you voted for MORE taxation and fewer jobs. You had a choice....you could have voted for small government, less taxation, and jobs.

My bet is you're a government employee sucking off the taxpayer. Aren't you ?

Daily Horoscope for January 4

Pisces

Family, friends and in-laws are all hard to please. It is better to please yourself for once, dear Pisces, than to bang your head against a wall. You need to relax and get in touch with your own feelings. Do not hesitate to speak up for someone you care about. Someone may try to curtail your freedom. Set them straight and do not give in.
