Erick Police

Erick has a reputation as a 'dirty' little town, with 'dirty' referring to the new class of people that have been moving there. Drugs are readily available, police are said to be 'dirty', there is no enforcement of drug laws, meth dealers are known to all, children are being abused, breakins are up, theives are in paradise, etc., etc., etc.
THE POLICE DEPARTMENT IS FOCUSED ON TRAFFIC TICKETS FOR MINOR MOVING VIOLATIONS, WHILE IGNORING THE REAL CRIMES.
Is this a great town or what?

Drive west about 15 miles into texASS and visit Shamrock... If you're "just passin' through", it will be a really nice visit. Stay a while and you'll see just how crooked and corrupt a town can be...

Cops are dirty, ignore druggie culture, focus on locals exceeding speed limits by nominal amounts and donuts. Affairs with teenage/underage girls-very dirty cops.

If ya want meth all ya gotta do is drive down the street at least thats what some of my friends Say who live there. And with a Wierd Museum on Main Street With lots of old artifacts which is ran by old potheads. Nothing I hear about Erick suprises me at all!

Do they just make up their own "laws" in Erick? They charge people with "city" offenses so they can do anything they want to do without state officials knowing what's going on in Erick. Apparently an offense in Erick is anything the old families say it is. Any thing the old families do is not a crime, regardless of state or federal law.

This stuff is insain,,I know peps in shammrock,I know some of the peps involved,This shit realy blows my mind.I came to hunt the region a few years back,and jus stayed,not in shitrock or the immediate area,BUT close enough,The few days i spent there it was made clear that dope was as easy to obtain as air you breath.Glad i didn't buy there;

When people in Erick have reported break-ins to the Erick police, the police turned around and attacked the people who reported the problem! The police there seem to make up their own rules for their own convenience and interest.

That museum by the light is the one tht is weird. It's creepy in there. There's nothing in Erick to interest anyone, except for Harley & Annabelle Russell, who do bring a lot of tourists to town for their show at the Sandhills Curiosity Shop, a block south of the light.

That's a very sad situation. Are people there afraid of the local cops? Has anybody reported it to the county authorities? There must be somebody somewhere who can do something to help.

The Erick cops have a reputation of jumping on the victims instead of the criminals. Is that true?

How about somebody who really knows what is going on in Erick contacting the Oklahoma Bureau of Investigation? Somebody should put a stop to this.

Did you have any experience in Erick? Wonder if what these people are saying is true?
