2 Then shall the righteous answer him, Lord, when saw we thee an hungered, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? and the King shall answer and say unto them, verly I say unto you, In as much as you have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, you have done it unto me.(Matthew 25:37-40 , KJV) or to be easier read, Matthew 25:37-40 (New International Version) 37"Then the righteous will answer him,'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?' 40"The King will reply,'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.' |

2 People make the bad decisions and choices that land them in homeless shelters, homeless animals are a product of man's stupidity and irresponsibility. |

1 On the path set by our Saviour we should go, We are judged by what we do for those in need, Else we are hypocrites driven by greed. Whe we slander those who try the poor to help, We simply become the Old Satan's whelp, So let us act kindly as Christ taught so well, It might help keep us off the road to Hell! |

1 My, aren't you the bitter old peach. I bet it gets tiresome wearing around that heavy judge's robe. Be careful, lest you find yourself on the other side of your harsh judgement someday, regardless of the brilliant "decisions and choices" you make. Should that happened you might find none willing to give you a helping hand. Maybe you could snuggle up with some stray cats and dogs. Come to think of it, most bitter old women do end up with a bunch of smelly cats for compaionship! By the way, I wish you would change your name, you give true GA Peaches, those with good hearts and compassion, a bad name! |

1 You will most likely smoke a turd in hell for having an attitude like that. You choose to help animals over people?? Stray dogs and cats can be disposed of easily. People need to help each other. It is hard to believe people can be so messed up as to put animals before people. Thank Ga. Peach is among a minority. |

1 Edgar Guest He spent what he made, or he gave it away, Tried to save money, and would for a day, Started a bank-account time an' again, Got a hundred or so for a nest egg, an' then Some fellow that needed it more than he did, Who was down on his luck, with a sick wife or kid, Came along an' he wasted no time till he went An' drew out the coin that for saving was meant. They say he died poor, and I guess that is so: To pile up a fortune he hadn't a show; He worked all the time and good money he made, Was known as an excellent man at his trade. But he saw too much, heard too much, felt too much here To save anything by the end of the year, An' the shabbiest wreck the Lord ever let live Could get money from him if he had it to give. I've seen him slip dimes to the bums on the street Who told him they hungered for something to eat, An' though I remarked they were going for drink He'd say: "Mebbe so. But I'd just hate to think That fellow was hungry an' I'd passed him by; I'd rather be fooled twenty times by a lie Than wonder if one of 'em I wouldn't feed Had told me the truth an' was really in need." Never stinted his family out of a thing: They had everything that his money could bring; Said he'd rather be broke and just know they were glad, Than rich, with them pining an' wishing they had Some of the pleasures his money would buy; Said he never could look a bank book in the eye If he knew it had grown on the pleasures and joys That he'd robbed from his wife and his girls and his boys. Queer sort of notion he had, I confess, Yet many a rich man on earth is mourned less. All who had known him came back to his side To honor his name on the day that he died. Didn't leave much in the bank, it is true, But did leave a fortune in people who knew The big heart of him, an' I'm willing to swear That to-day he is one of the richest up there. |

You aare right - however there are more idiots here than not --- with nothing better to do than cut others down. It is SAD. |

1 It's neither a choice nor a contest. Who are you to judge what brought these poor people to such miserable circumstances? "Judge not lest ye be judged." |

I agree with North, people do not have the right to judge others, I believe it must be the Bible that states that, quoted so often. Here is another one-just good FYI, "People who live in glass houses should not throw stones". They simply stated that they need volunteers, however that being said, I do believe that you cannot help people who choose not to help themselves. The fact still remains, the are asking for volunteers, Do not help, because you do not like whomever, or DFCS, it Just an excuse that you are hiding behind....find somewhere else to do whatever it is that makes you feel so good about yourself.., must be something that you do to help others right?

I agree with North as well. We should not be Judging others "unless we have walked a mile in their shoes"
