PLAYOFF SENARIOS--right now it looks like scott central, puckett, taylorsville and bassfield will win their respective regions. taylorsville and mize are undefeated in region and will playfor the region title, both finishing 1-2. this year the teams from region 7 play the teams from regiom region 6. it looks like enterprise will finish 3rd in region and play loyd star, which looks like will be the number 2 seed from region 6. i think enterprise will beat stringer and finish 3rd. A GLANCE AT STRINGER--stringeris one tough football team. their record is 4-6 but with a few breaks they could be 6-4 0r 7-3. they almost beat north forrest, sumrall and bay springs. even though they lost to taylorsville 19-0 and mize 30-7, those games were much closer than the scores indicated. they held taylorsville to 124 total yards. stringer is huge especially for a borderline class 1A school. they have six lineman over six feet tall and over 250 pounds. they have 3 three linemen oveer 300 bounds, the biggest being 6-foot-3, 385 pounds. they go 6-1, 295, 6'4 285, 6'2 300, 6'1 320, 6' 255, and 6'3, 385. weapons--junior RB ervin garvin, 6-0, 190, jr QB jerimiah chandler, 5'8, 160, sr runningback tyler brown, 6-0, 205, sr WR marcus bolton, 6-2, 165. WHO WILL WIN-- last week stringer went up 7-0 early on mize before mize scored 30 unanswered points. stringer is one of those teams that seems to play tough but just finds a way to lose. they played bay springs, north forrest and sumrall tough but found a way to lose in the end. enterprise has looked immpresive in wins over st. andrew's and bay springs [and st.andrew's almost beat velma jackson on the same field that enterprise did the week before. st. andrew's led velma 14-6 at halftime. enterprise led st. andrew's 14-7 at halftime.] and now enterprise has roshawn johnson back and healthy i think enterprise will win.
