Will the farms be open to allowing microbiological testing of their equipment, packaging lines and facility as a whole during the open houses? I would be surprised if they said yes.
What better way to introduce disease and spread contamination from farm to farm than to invite the public into their farms and then allow them to go from facility to facility! If anyone is wondering why they are sick after this day, don't go any further than your doctor to ask to be tested for: tuberculosis (Mycobacterium bovis), the bacteria Campylobacter (Campylobacteriosis), Escherichia(E. coli O157:H7), Listeria (Listeriosis), Salmonella (Salmonellosis), Yersinia (Yersinia enterocolitica), and Brucella (Brucellosis)- its probably what you got from your eye-opening tour. I hope the local hospitals are ready. |
