The Tecumseh YMCA is in a financial crisis. Community members can help by making cash donations, signing up for classes, renewing memberships or signing up for new memberships.
Call the YMCA for more information.

The Tecumseh YMCA has been a vital part of the lives of my children. We have participated in Swimming, Gymnastics, Dance, Basketball, Soccer, Volleyball, Judo and Karate. The Tecumseh YMCA has been an affordable way for my family to explore different activities and stay fit. I am making a donation to keep this great part of our community. I think everyone else should too!!

I was a member of the YMCA until the pool was in progress of being installed. Gee, I didn't know I needed a pool. I knew that in the end membership rates would go up and low and behold they did. Who decided "we needed to keep up with the Joneses"? Why should I help pay for something I had and have no desire to use. Mmmmm I'll just walk around the block a few times for free instead.

I'm sorry but you should find out why they built the pool to begin with. First of all you were not the only member at the time, and many members DID want the pool. Also, the main goal of the pool was to attract more people to become members. I garuntee you if they had expected that the pool would create this much of a crisis they would not have built it. Finally if you had a problem with the building of the pool you should have gone to a member of the administration and told them about it and why. Just you complaining might not have been enough to make them stop building, but it would at least make them think about it. You don't have any right to complain about it unless you actually did something to try and stop it.

Daily Horoscope for December 15

Libra

You know what they say about this being the season of goodwill to all men? Well, you get the chance to put it into action today by being understanding, tolerant and compassionate towards the people you meet. This doesn't mean you should condone anything awful that they do, but simply that you need to look beyond that to the larger picture.
