Recently I observed as an apartment manager demanded entry into residents' apartments without having provided prior notice and became irate when a tenant protested and accused him of troublemaking.
Now, such an accusation is obviously based on the assumption of tenant ignorance. Since most people at the place are AA and a few Latinos, it comes across as if this manager assumes ignorance based on her prejudiced low estimation of their intelligence.
One thing is certain, when she was applying for the Job and was asked about showing tenants proper respect she definitely did not display such an attitude.
A pity that such individuals are improperly screened and placed in positions where they can attempt to trample on the rights of others that way.
