No matter what you think Albany is a city ran by idiots and filled with thugs. Its a horrible crime ridden town, the average citizen is trash. All the good tax paying law abiding people have moved out or live in fear day to day.
When "certain people" are in charge, this is what you get.

Every city has areas with high crime rates, and this includes Valdosta, and Albany. Each city has areas that are wonderful and areas that are run down, poor, neglected and the like.

We continue to live with the legacy of institutional racism and will for centuries to come.

Oh, racism comes in all colors too!

No, I'd say the comments are racial, not "racist". There is a difference.

Are there problems in the Black community; yes! There are a great many historical reasons for those problems that will take time to work through.

From poverty, families without fathers, discrimination, et cetera it is both understandable and tragic that everyone is not on an equal footing.

Some people need to quit blaming other people for their problems. Stay in school get an education and go to work. Quit getting hand outs from the government. Not every job pays 100k a year.I don't make that, but I came from a family were if you wanted it work for it or you won't have it. Equal footing there are more poor people than rich in this world.

Raccism racial or reverse discremination I have been passed up many times over the years for jobs I wanted but could not get because they had to higher someone of another color.

So anothers no matter what your situation look out for yourself stand up for yourself and don't rely on someone else to GIVE you something and quit making excuses Why you are what you are. How many years are you going to give the same above excuses. Slavery ended over 140 years ago and that excuse is still being used.

When did institutional racism end? Hmmmm. It has been since 1964! Think Title VII that made discrimination on the basis of race illegal....
