Think twice about going to visit this (piece of work!) 2/28/2008
I’m just recently returned home from my lovely visit to one of our local (professional??)
Dentists. I made an appointment for a cleaning. Got there was seated by the receptionist
And was told that the doctor would be in to consult, take evaluations, ex rays etc, etc
I informed her that all this would not be necessary as all I wanted was a cleaning.
As requested per our phone appointment. Well, dr. whitey must have heard our conversation because I could now here him screaming at his receptionist stating (loudly)
That we don’t just do a teeth cleaning here!! I was then informed (in a nasty manner) that we need an evaluation, and a consultation, and ex rays!!! And……I explained to dr. whitey that if this in fact was his protocol why waste each
Other’s time. This could have been explained to me by his receptionist over the phone
(And im sure in a more compitant, professional manner). End result before I could gather my glasses and put on my coat and thanking him for wasting my day, time off work, He called the police!!!! Unbelievable. I am still shocked and this happened an hour ago. Look, I am a property owner and have had a business in town for over 15 years. We all have protocols and run our business in different manners. It’s bad enough to have an appointment at 1pm and don’t get acknowledged until 2:15 .you and your staff should be on the same page. This jerk needs a vacation or a lesson in client etiquette…………
Or a sedative. Or even an early retirement. In the past I have heard negative stories from people in town in reference to this incompetitant dental practitioner. I figured what the heck
How bad could a visit to this guy’s office be for a simple teeth cleaning. So there you go
Dr. Whitey, another satisfied patient. Thanks for the service, ill pass a good word along
……….NOT!!!!!!!

Don't know who you're talking about but Dr. Whitely, Russo and DaSilva have been my dentists for about 9 years and I can honestly tell you that this office of dentistry medicine can be challenged by no other. If Dr. Whitely found just cause to call the police on you, it was most probably justified. Never have I had a problem with him, my entire family brood sees them and each and every one of us is satisfied beyond belief.

I think you have to sit back and do some self evaluating....the problem I believe underlies within you.

The receptionists, dental hygienists, and dentists are all educated in the science and in etiquette!

Avoid John J Cesario, DDS
Unless you enjoy less than precise results and multiple come back for corrections. The front office is run by kids who lack training and plenty negative attitude towards patrons. The dental hygienist is clearly less than pleased to be there, for reasons I dont, know but it shows. This is the place for you if you like to be yelled at by this loud mouth staff or enjoy your made in China Crowns.

I don't know what doctor you saw, but it does not sound like any of the doctors, staff environment that my family has been visiting for nearly 20 years. I hope you reread your comments and look for the anger and bitterness in your writing. If this is a sample of what happened in the office that explains why the police were called. I have always felt very safe and comfortable in the office. I am sure you are probably the only patient in the many years that Dr. Whitely has been in business that he had to call the police as a result of a CLEANING!!!!

I lived in Enfield for a good while and it wasn't long before I realised that the populous there contains more physcopaths per square mile than any place that I have lived since. Professionals, no exception. They ought to change the name of the place to Leftfield.

AVOID DR. WHITTELY AND SILVA IN BASSDALE PLAZA.
This was the worst experience I have ever had dealing with a doctor. They are clearly only driven by money and nothing else matters to this practice. If your insurance offers free cleanings or any other amenities just forget about it - they will inflate the bill. Please avoid this provider or you will pay dearly.

I have been going to Dr Whiteley for over 20 years. I have never been more satisfied with a dentist in all my life. I have never seen him act this way ever and I have recommended him to many others and they all still go to him too. I have never heard a complaint like this one from anyone. He was actually recommended to me over 20 years ago by someone else. I think you must have been in the twilight zone. I can't even believe that I read this about that office. I have asked for no xrays or flouride when I am there and he has always honored my request. I'm still in shock that I even saw this write up. I hope you found a dentist that fit you better, because I will always go to him and this just leaves more room for my appointments.

Please ask the qualifications of who is treating you as I took my son to an orthodontist in your area. I later found out the woman who fitted his braces was a Dental Assistant who is not required to have any formal training and is not supposed to perform treatment on patients. A Dental Assistant also took my son's x rays which is only allowed if she holds a Certificate IV which she did not.

My family and I have been coming to Dr. John for 10 years and thru the years even though staff has changed, everybody including Dr. John have been nothing but the consumate professional. My wife is more sensitive then most dentist can tolerate but Dr. John makes it as comfortable as possible, constantly checking making sure of her confort. My friend is a dental lab tech who works in a lab in Riverside, Ca. and they've been making his crowns for over 20 years. Highly recommended for a pleasant dental experience!

Went to see Dr Paul Smith at 700 Tecumseh rd. Told the receptionness that I had a broken tooth with a filling out that I needed the tooth pulled. Dr Smith took a quick look and said it needed to come out, which I already knew ! Then charged me a extra $ 100 just for his evaluation. What ,do I look stupid. He pulled the tooth, total bill $ 250. The roof of my mouth was all cut and I'm not impressed. I won't be going back to him or I wouldn't even take my dog there. No freezing the gum surface first just jabbed the needle in. Hope all dentists are not so money hungry as he is.

Just got back from 4th appointment to see my dentist only to be told by out of town Office Manager , that he was not available and a dental technician would see me. Earlier in the day they changed my appointment to an earlier time and when I arrived slightly early to help them out was told by Office Manager that he was running late. Since found they have billed me for a fully qualified dentist at my last visit but alas I was only seen by a dental technician. A handy profit for them even though the dentist was not present on that day.

I know which dentist the prior writer was writing about. Now a large clinic run by a very rude and angry manager. I also have had multiple appointments made over the past twelve months. My usual dentist has been unable to ever see me even though I have made all my appointments to see him. I have never been informed about the change of dentists, I have informed the manager that I want see my usual dentist. I was charged $175 for a cleaning by a dental hygienist though the bill has the dentists name as provider of this cleaning, he wasn't there that day.
Bad news travels far in a small town.
