Has anyone heard anything about what caused the crash? I think it was an 18 year old who crashed into the Jeep in which the females were riding. There has to be some explanation. Could the 18 yr. old who apparantly caused it, have passed out (health problem)? Could it have been inattention? Was it mechanical failure (maybe the brake lights on the Jeep failed?) Could it have been drunk driving? Maybe the cruise control didn't disconnect when the girl hit the brakes? I guess there could have been many plausible explanations, other than that the girl caused the accident thru faulty driving. Again, anyone heard anything about what caused it?

Lydia Rojas sounds like an illegal with no license, insurance or registration. if she had to crash into something, she should have found a nice solid pole or tree. Well, maybe not a tree because that takes away from nature.

I didn't even comment on the article until the one you responded to, so I don't know why that poster would have mentioned me. lol

teh blog on pressconnects has been very interestingsince the accident. its amazing how many people leave blogs on there that really have no idea what happened. having witnessed the accident first hand i could offer some truth to the blogs that are so wrong it aint funny! rojas hit the jeep yes... no cruise control or brake light malfunction! she just was not paying attention to the stopped traffic ahead! the jeep women were going approx 5-10 mph, and got blasted by rojas going anywhere between 50-70 mph! plain and simple! the position of the gas tank on the 96 jeep was not good for rear end collision! dont buy a jeep ! their gas tanks are very exposed and not protected! rojas was very apologetic atteh scene and was not hurt at all! obviously she caused the whole thing so she should be! if the jeep was not a jeep ( any other car with a normal gas tank position) there would of been no explosion! thats the unfortunate thing! it is a tragedy that people had to die for someones stupidity! it appears that they were dead on impact since there was some evidence of cracked skulls and trauma. thanks god these nice women did not suffer in that fire! god bless them and their families!
