I'll go on record and say Smith has my vote again! I don' think Davis has any experience that would dictate she could handle the job...she's to far removed from agricultural topics, has no idea about the importance of the different programs available and I think quite a bit of what she says about the environment and gun control is all hype. She doesn't know the issues, so how could she react for our benefit? Her campaign pictures that clearly shows her support of Obama really turn me off. I don't think Obama is worthy of the office and his programs basically suck! He blames everyone else for the financial situation and never owns up to his mistakes. If Davis supports him like her campaign pictures show she does, why would I vote for her? I also don't believe she is pro-gun or has any concept about the issues of private gun owner ship. Smith has been in there fighting for natural resources and proves he has the guts and determination to do the job. His experience dictates he has the knowledge to continue doing what is right for the people of Nebraska. More importantly he understands the importance of agriculture in this region. Among the three candidates he stands out as someone with the interest of this state and area in mind. I don't harbor any ideas of why he doesn't debate Davis, other than he is pretty busy, thinks maybe it would be a waste of time and would consequently out class her in the debate situation. All I know about is the words in print by the other candidates involved . I have communicated with Smiths' office on a few occasions and I always get answers. I may not have agreed to all the advice at times, but his responses have always been well thought out. I think the guy does his job and I know he represents our district well. I'd rather have someone of experience filling the position than I would someone who doesn't have a clue. I also feel strongly that he isn't in the position to fulfill his own personal agenda, but, that the interests of this state and this region is uppermost on his mind in trying to be a voice in Washington for our benefit. Voted For Rebekah Davis
Rebekah Davis has far more experience than Adrian did. He couldn't even get a bill passed in the NE Legislature, now he can't even get it done in Congress. Plus, Rebekah takes NO special interest money, while Adrian gets over half his money from big corporations. Time to throw the bums out and get a fresh crew into Congress, starting with placeholder, do-nothing Smith.

Smith has voted the way the people from his district have told him to vote. If you would check around, most of the people from mid to western Nebraska are conservatives. We believe in giving people a hand up, not a hand out. I, along with a lot of other Nebraska folks, work hard for my moeny and don't need someone back east telling me to redistribute my wealth. So, if that makes Smith "a useless midnless idiot for the GOP", then I guess he will get my vote, again, in November.

I'm from Nebraska and in his district, and I see an ineffectual rubber stamp without a single accomplishment to his name. He's taken over $1.5 Million from special interest lobbying groups in just 2 terms, and which represents more than half of his fundraising. Neither party is right all the time, but Smith seems to think only the GOP is right. It's not. He's part of the partisan problem, and more than willing to be a lemming for John Boehner and Eric Cantor. I want someone who can think for themselves and look for the right answer, not giving a darn about party. Rebekah Davis is many of her views is very conservative and very much in tune with 3rd District Nebraskans. She's pro-life, speaks 5 languages (which includes Farsi, and she also has experience actually spending time on dangerous missionary work in the middle east, and knows those cultures - a benefit in the current times). In an article today, the only thing Adrian could say he had really been a leader on was passing only in the House a bill for veterinarians. It hasn't even been taken up in the Senate. He rarely introduces bills, and that one was written an industry that's given him over $60,000 in donations. I want someone who works for NEBRASKA, not someone who, when asked in 2006 his reasons for running while at a fundraiser at Jerry Falwell's Liberty University, said "I want to stay in Congress a good long time...I want to stay their until retirement." Shouldn't he have put NEBRASKA first, and not his own personal interests? At least Rebekah can answer why she's running, and states it very clearly. Hell, even Dan Hill can state it clearly even though he's even more extreme than Adrian!
