Erie has had such a powerful tool since 2007, when an unnamed donor gave $100 million to the Erie Community Foundation for distribution to 44 local organizations. Those agencies are receiving the last of their three installment payments -- totaling either $1 million or $2 million -- this month. The Erie Community Foundation and United Way of Erie County each received $11.3 million and out-of-state nonprofits got $15 million. To you sir, a big .... pha-Q

Nobody else rolls like that in Erie County. Erie Insurance has been floating this entire community for decades.
