Erie has had such a powerful tool since 2007, when an unnamed donor gave $100 million to the Erie Community Foundation for distribution to 44 local organizations.

Those agencies are receiving the last of their three installment payments -- totaling either $1 million or $2 million -- this month.

The Erie Community Foundation and United Way of Erie County each received $11.3 million and out-of-state nonprofits got $15 million.

To you sir, a big .... pha-Q

Unnamed donor? Are you living under a rock or something?

Everybody knows it's Susan Hirt and Tom Hagan. Nobody else rolls like that in Erie County.

Erie Insurance has been floating this entire community for decades.

Daily Horoscope for May 23

Virgo

You have a very high opinion of a certain person today, believing that they can do no wrong. But how realistic are you being? It looks as though you're viewing the world through rose-colored glasses, which is fine if it's only a temporary state but quite another matter if you're deliberately ignoring problems and pretending that they don't exist.
