Case of men charged with La Grange murder goes to grand jury
A district court judge ruled that probable cause exists in the case of two men charged with the death of a La Grange man and referred the case to an Oldham County grand jury.

This was not only my fiancee but he was my best friend and the father of my two sons who was there in our apartment when they broke in and shot my fiancee. And all he was trying to do was save his two sons. James was the best person in the world. My son's father doesn't see them, by his choice, and James took in my sons as his own. He did everything for them. His last words was "they shot me, please go check on my boys, please go check on my boys, please." For a person to take someone elses life, is sick. James was all about serving the lord. That's what we tought our boys too. Every night we would get down on our knees as a family and pray. EVERY NIGHT! I hope these two people that murdered and anyone else that may have been involved that murdered my love, best friend, soul mate, father to our sons and much much more, gets the punishment that they deserve, which is the death penalty!

There was a time in my life that these comments would have pissed me off and made me wonder how someone could be so cold and heartless, but all I can do now is pray for you and hope you find out what it is in your life that gives you the right to judge anyone. In my life there is only one Judge in this world and you'll be in my prayers every night to Him. He/we changed our lives. and the one who matters, GOD, knows that. God bless you and your family. |

You really should know all the facts before you speak. My children are well taken care of, better than you'll ever know. You really should be worried about yours and what could happen to them for your harsh words. This will come back on you, as everything always does in one way or another, and then it will be you praying. You're family will be in my prayers too. God bless you and your family. You idiots from Ohio should be ashamed of yourself! How dare you pass judgement on this woman who not only has been through hell and back but is probably struggling everyday with the thought of her fiancee being murdered! No one deserves having something like this happen to them, and you dont know her so therefore what makes you think you can just assume that this person is a bad mother b/c her fiancee has a criminal record or b/c he was murdered in cold blood for no reason at all! Have a little sympathy and remember "THINK BEFORE YOU SPEAK" With this being said I will continue praying for you all! May God be with you all!

Chasity, unfortunately once you have a reputation it is very hard to get out from under it. Noone really knows the changes that you have made except you and God and that is all that needs to know. I will say though, that if you continue to do the same things that got you this reputation in the first place, then people will naturally doubt your sencerity. If you don't continue those things then people will in time see. It is very unfortunate that this tragic event occured in your and your childrens' lives. I hope that they are getting the help that they need to recover from such a horrible event. They are the true victims in all this. I know that you are suffering a great deal of heart ache. I couldn't imagine losing the man in my life but I hope that you are able to see the positive in this, the true blessing is that your children are still alive. Knowing that, hopefully in time you will be able to pick up the pieces and move on, for them. They need their mother more now, then they ever have.

First, I want to start out by saying thanks to those of you who have been sympathic to this. 2nd, their grandfather does not raise my children. I do, I always have. It has been me and me only! My kids go to their grandpa's house every OTHER weekend. Their father is not in their life (nor does he pay any kind of child support) and their grandfather does help me. He is their grandfather and what grandpa would not help their grand kids? We all need help sometimes, and this is a time that I do need help and I am not ashamed to say I do. I pay my bills, I buy my kids food, pay for the roof over their head, take them to the doctor when they need to be taken, I take them to counseling, not their grandpa. I'm the one who took them to Bible school all last week. I'm the one that was sitting with them in chruch yesterday and last night and every other Sunday. If you know us so well, why don't you ask him? He will tell you the same (I am the one who takes care of them). There is nothing you can say bad about him, because he is a very well respected man who has never been in trouble, never caused any problems. So if you don't want to take my word, please ask him. There is nothing wrong with them going to visit him every other weekend. And as far as how I have changed my life, time will show that. I have made a lot of mistakes in my life, who hasn't? Some just worse than others. We are not perfect, we just try to learn from our mistakes and grow to become a better person. I have changed my life and time will tell the real story. I have my faith, my children and my family and that is all I need. I struggle everyday raising two kids on my own, but I never give up. I will always be there for them and give them anything they need. And they need me now more than ever. God bless you all. |
