Please don't throw candy? That's about the only reason to even bring the kids to the parade. Otherwise there was no excitement at all. The band wasn't even playing, the 2 clowns looked bored, there were more tow trucks than old cars. WTF?

I thought it was a big improvement over last year since it actually represented some of what the 4th means historically.

This years parade was a GREAT tribute to the MEN and WOMEN that fought and died for this country. The people that dressed in period clothing was doing a WONDERFUL thing for representing the SOILDERS that made the ULTIMATE SACRAFICE for our NATION. I do not agree with the art of sending our MEN and WOMEN to WAR, but I will, as should all of you, will support the Men and Women that are placed in harms way.
