What someone needs to do, is put a web-site together where someone interested in the Zodiac case does not have to be an expert and get abused by idiots like these two. Like two little girls they call each other names on their web-sites and want others to “join in on their side in their childish fight for “King of the Zodiac.” Here’s the truth folks.......they no nothing more than you or I as to who the Zodiac was! All of their evidence is circumstantial! Tom critiques others when they bring forth evidence and says their info is circumstantial all of the time; so is his! The other clown is a flat out liar!!! Ya got that right!

So, apparently, you know, or think you know, who the killer was. Now, here is the big question: in your opinion who was this lovely gentleman that snuck up on young innocent kids and shot them point blank?

Or stabbed them...Not that they all weren't tragic, but that one seemed the absolute worst to me. I am a criminal justice student, and found it interesting at the change of M.O. from the Zodiac...Dark, lonely roads, shooting kids, to stabbing a couple lake-side, to shooting a cab driver at an intersection. He was a pretty versatile killer, which to me seems like the worst kind.

He was, most likely, a high school teacher that most closely fit the description given by the two eye witnesses in the SF cab driver killing (these two witnesses, btw, gave the only credible descriptions in this entire case).
This HS teacher was, by his own account, arrested and questioned by the SFPD in regards to the cab driver case. He then went as far as to hold an "all school" (i.e. we all had to attend) student meeting in our HS auditorium so as to "give his side of the story" of how he was "mistreated" and "profiled" by the SFPD.
His entire story was later proven false which would lead one to think that he was trying to discredit any possible future charges against him.
In other words, he may have "given himself away" by making up this story.

Why do you think he committed those crimes? I have never heard of a teacher as a suspect except for Leigh Allen.

When I think of these crimes I think how cowardice it was to do this to these innocent kids. I wish I knew who he was. He was described as short on more than one occasion and stocky. He was supposed to be very intelligent as well. I wonder if the evidence such as Stine’s wallet or the rest of the bloody shirt will ever be found. Those items or DNA are the only way we will know who it really was. Good for you on the criminal justice thing! I would love to have been a cop as my Grandfather was. I guess I just feel horrible for those kids that were victims.... but I would really like to know what made the Zodiac.... There is always a reason why. Was he abused? Was he an orphan? Was he just plain rotten to the core like the BTK? You are right; he was very "versatile."

Kevin, you will not get any real answers here! Everythings a big dark secret... The truth is nobody knows who the little fat guy was. He wore old man clothes, had two mismatched tires (old tires at that) was at least 225pounds according to the cast they made of his shoe imprint at the lake where he stabbed the two kids..

He very closely matched the description given by both of the cab driver killing witnesses as well as the weight determined by the shoe imprint casts. Keep in mind that these two are the only witnesses to have given a "credible" description of a possible suspect (the keyword here is "possible"). Every other witnesses description was either pure speculation or that of a suspect who was entirely covered in "clothing". Again, the fact that he very closely matched the only credible witness descriptions and also went as far as to fabricate a story of his arrest and questioning by the SFPD (in regards to the cab driver killing) indicates that he most likely was the Zodiac. However, a DNA test on this guy's remains would have the best chance of proving or disproving this previously well known yet now often "forgotten" theory. This guy is, BTW, one of the last "suspects" that has not been DNA tested.

I beg to differ with you . The zodiac was a very snappy dresser. He wore suits most of the time. Except when he wanted to look different. He dressed like a lot of older men did in S.F. I remember that when ever I went to S.F. I would put on my Sunday best, unless I was going to the Height. I think the Z was a salesman who traveled a lot from state to state. He is very much a live and has about 5 or so yrs left to live. If any of you live close enough to Vallejo. On the 5th of July there will be a meeting of Zodiac sluths and friends, at Blue Rock Springs noon- 8pm at "The Pines" area of the park.Check out all the plans at zodiackiller.com .

Oops, I left out the fact that he was not fat, he was stocky, and the foot prints at Lake Berryessa are now in question ! Mainly because of the way they were collected. The plaster they used back then is unexceptable today. The best discription was given by Kathleen Johns, he was about 165# 5ft 9 or 10. Hazel eyes, brown hair, when he wasn't waring a wig. "Very strong". The composite is very close to what he looked like. He did need glasses, but would take them off when he didn't have to read anything. Now he can't see much with out them. His hands shake too much now, for him to write any more letters. Some of the letters that were discounted as being from the Zodiac , were from him is what I believe. Some we have never seen because they were thrown out as fakes.
