this person did not deserve to frickin die he was a good kid he was only 18 i dont see how u would want to kill someone that young the person that killed him is a discrace

Listen MARSHALL didn't deserve to die. He was a good kid and he got along with everyone. He was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

he didn't deserve to die... he was a good kid and we loved him so much he was a great friend to us and a great brother.. who ever did this will not be in peace even though he was in a bad place and he did wrong things we will still be in our hearts and we will remember him always!

Everyone that doesnt know marshall makes it seem like he was a bad guy or whatever but has anyone stop to think. Marshall had a gun and a knife and hes the one that died obvestly he had no intention on hurting anyone else he wouldnt have got killed he could have easily killed someone else. Yep it is a shame that a person had to die...I am sure he was loved by many... I wonder how you would have felt if your loved one had used the gun and knife he was carrying to kill the person he was intent on robbing... He went there knowing he was going to committ a crime armed and in the night time...what would you have the victim do?? die??

Marshall may have been a good kid once but that was over once he committed a felony did he deserve to die probably not but did those people deserve to get robbed i doubt it maybe with Marshall's death some other good kid won't decide to do something stupid and die also now why don't you pay it forward and do something nice for someone in Marshall name so people do not remember him as the idiot who died doing something stupid and keep his name alive in a positive light

how do you kno those ppl didnt deserve to get rob??? do you kno them or the situation?? maybe they did deserve it and maybe not but 7 time is a little extreme you think... his name will always be alive in a positive light by those of us who actually knew him!

There is a distubing aspect to this trajic death. I don't know how seriosly Marshall and his accomplace Jim Ryant are involve in gang activity, but this is the "glory" it inevitably leads to. The many referrences to GMS (Get Money Squad) and BLAT (Blood Land And Territory) by Marshalls "friends" are both solidly connected to the Bloods a notorious and very distructive gang organization. I doubt that these people are very strongly associated with the Bloods, but this "wanna be" association is a root cause of the foolish behavior which put Ryant, Marshall and probably the occupants of the house in the situation which bought about this death that they are now responsible for. From their comments Marshall's buddies can take a large amount of the responsibility for his death by encouraging his immature and reckless behavior. If it is not a wake up call for them, it certainly should be for our community and it's law enforcement. THIS IS A GANG RELATED DEATH.

Marshall touched many lives with kindness and compassion from his heart and what positive energy it is to give rememberance to him for all those acts of random kindness he would give to so many people. It is nice to share that with each other. The fact that he struggled sometimes with negative aspects in his life does not allow people to pass cruel judgment upon him. Nobody has a perfect score when you look at the list of sins that Jesus listed in the Book of Mark - and remember Jesus treats all of them as being equal in sin. So, the question of can someone really be considered a good kid if they are armed with a gun and knife is further complicated by realizing that Jesus has listed gossip, envy and greed along side of theft, adultery and murder in that list of sins. Don't be tempted to act with arrogance or malice when thinking about what Marshall did - those two things are also on the list. There are folks who think that they can comdem Marshall to hell....but their thoughts are weak because he is already living in the eternal light. His sins did not stop him from being a Believer - all believers in Jesus Christ have some sin. There are so many of us who know that when Marshall touched our lives with his upbeat style, we felt the fingerprints of God's love and saw the twinkle of it in his eyes. If you did not know him in this way, I am sorry that you weren't able to walk in those particular shoes.
