St. Louis pays $80,000 for censoring Christians

What would they do if I stood on the sidewalk in front of their church (public property) and held up signs and passed out literature that were pro-gay? Would they call the police? Beat me up?

Perhaps you did not read the article. That is exactly what the gay agenda was selling at the pride parade. When Christians tried to express their viewpoint they were illegaly stopped which is the point of the article.

I always read WND articles with a large dose of skepticism.

Of course, what they fail to mention is that, at that time, there was a city ban on leafleting in public parks. The Christian organization was in violation of that ban.

I think it time to start "interrupting" church service nationwide with insulting language as the churchgoers are arriving and leaving! What a great concept!

Why do you call conservative Christians bigots? Is it because they believe homosexuality is sinful? That is their interpretation of the bible. Is it because you feel threatened by them in some way?

For being a newspaper for "righteous, morally perfect" christians, the WND is certainly good at distorting the facts to serve their own agenda.

The story is just shy of outright lying on lots of its "facts".

It's not because they have their own beliefs - it's that they won't be happy until everybody lives by those beliefs. And they'll resort to any activity - including violence - to ensure that happens.
You can have your beliefs all you want, but stay the f*ck out of my life. I used to have compassion and even respect for most christians. They've ensured that's almost completely gone.

Oh, like the gay agenda performing parades pressing their beliefs on others. The only violence I have seen at these types of events come from the gay agenda.

See, I don't agree with how most parents act at little league games. They are destructive to the kids, hateful and sometimes downright disgusting. So, I don't go. But, I don't try to have them banned.
Whenever there is a tent revival in town, I don't go. I don't agree with the actions of trying to fleece disheartened people out of their money - and usually outright lying to them. But, I don't try to get them banned.
The article really had less to do with the venue and more to do with the fact that the church was violating a law that was on the books - however wrong that law may be.
But, your precious WND tried to make it sound like it was the participants of the festival itself who tried to "violate their rights" - when you know that's a lie.
Would you be so willing to stand up for a gay organization who's rights were violated? Not a chance...

Actually, the WND article didn't confirm anything except its penchant for telling lies and half-truths to suit its own agenda.

The other article confirmed that the religious group was in violation of the law, however draconian that law may have been.
