INCORRECT. The store closed at the end of June. Maybe they will relocate nearby.

I worked at the local kfc in corning and now i am out of a job no money to pay my bills...the owner gave us two weeks to find a new job, they said if we talked to the media about the closing we were going to get fired...it could take up to two years for a new kfc but to anyone that is looking for a job take my advice DO NOT WORK for the company...they treat you like crap, and when they close they give you hardly anytime to find a new job...but they still expect you to do your job right even though you wont have one in a few days...

I thought the media reported that current KFC Corning employees would be able to get jobs at the local Pizza Huts or Taco Bell. Was that an option for you?

Well, that was an option-but they were only a FEW job openings at the pizza-hutt and of course when theres only one job offer-many people try to get it and plus
I dont want to work for the company ever again...they knew LAST year that walgreens was coming and they didnt get a place but isnt it funny that Pudgies did and the others stores in that location-if KFC really cared about their workers than they would of planned a new location sooner-nope all they care about is money and money-not the employees!!!!

We Are Planning a New kfc/taco bell in corning we hope to Opening in Dec, and we loving employees and place that in are other Store, we pay are 7.65 Hours, plus Week Paid Vactions for are Crews

Kinda sucks that the store closed down. I was hired at the end of May and only worked there through June. Oh well I don't think it was that much of a great place to work anyway. Nobody seemed to appreciate how hard I worked, except for like two people LOL.

Well, they did tear down the Ponderosa building recently. It had set empty for years. Maybe they WILL put a new KFC in its place.

KFC/Taco Bell is in works for Corning but i did not Know Location, Former KFC is Sister Store to Pizza Hut accoss Glass works

the KFC/Taco Bell will look like Southport Store

can't find a site for it, we are looking at site in Erwin near wal-Mart and Home Depot, are looking at site in Bath near K-Mart,
