We have several things named after bad people. How about for once doing a decent thing and naming a street after the slain retired cop.

why not we've named a football stadium after a guy who was convicted os serious felonious crimes and who trained his son to be a worthless piece of cow dung?

A park and a street sound good. Wanna put a fountain in the park so people can damage it? Think of what lives there

How important does a person have to be before
they are considered assassinated instead of just murdered?

having seen way more then my share of dead people i can assure you the dead don't care how they are label.
only the living worry about such sillyness.
Prevention would be a much better use of the living's time.
Which is why i want to close down places that promote sex that leads to AIDS/HIV.
That kills way more the cop killers do.
And its the numbers that count not the labels the living want to tag them with.

andthe point is ?
MP gets what about one cop kill every 30 years or so?
i admit that murder comes first.
but lets be honest here.
that bookstore is churning out AIDS/HIV and STD's on a daily basis.
i think at some point such actiity deserves a serious look.
but that seems like a point no one but me gets.
and yeah i dd get your point and i support it too
do you support mine ?

You are always worried about the bookstore. Must be a former patron who is upset. Average people don't have any clue about the bookstore.
Why shouldn't a murder take precedence over a bookstore where the patrons know what is involved when they go there? Get off your soapbox.....

love to disapoint the ignorant
sorry not a patron past - present - or future
and you are ignorant if you think only the patrons get AIDS from that place.
They bring it home to their mates who don't have a clue as to what they are getting
so stop being ignorant and learn the truth

The question was "How important does a person have to be before
they are considered assassinated instead of just murdered?"
President Kennedy was assassinated, the Police Sergeant was murdered. Both were shot, neither had been to the bookstore

I heard Kennedy had a lot of unsafe practices. If the bookstore was open then, he and the secret services would probably go there.

This is a wonderful day for being with loved ones, so do yourself a favor and spend as much time with them as possible. You don't have to do anything very special together, either, although you'll certainly enjoy going out for a meal or cooking something fancy at home. If you're looking for things to brighten up your home, you can track down some great deals today Pisces, but don't expect them to be at bargain prices....
