We now have a board that will make a decision and stand behind it and will not cave under the immense pressure that the last administration will attempt to put on them. I congratulate them. There was one board member who voted against but for the interest of the kids and the school we will not begin calling for her ouster at the next election. Why don't everyone pull together and give this man a chance and try to do your part to make our school system more than it has ever been. Lets all make it a better place for the education of ALL children and those that are not doing their jobs then lets continue to change and remove. I am happy for the children tonight. They truly deserve this new beginning.

Uvuvycfysydyc wrote: <quoted text> haha no two new board members Jonathon , Jack and Brenda are doing EXCELLENT !! Yes, these people are great examples of what good board members should be. They make decisions based on what they believe is best for the kids and they follow through with it no matter how much they may be threatened, bullied or intimated. Hats off to them and to Donnie as well. He likewise voted for this historic change in the history of Elliott county education. Times are changing for the better in our county and I am proud to be a citizen of Elliott county and to witness it. It is so refreshing and the children are the true winners tonight. I am so happy for all of them. They truly deserve a better learning environment than we have had in the past and I pray that they get it. I believe we have a board that will not fail to change again if it doesn't work. Isn't that nice? No 20 or 30 years of the same old leadership if it isn't performing? I say Praise The Lord!!! Prayers have been answered!!

Sounds like Chris is mighty proud of his flunkies! All this going out of the county and hiring someone with no interest in our kids except the money he will be paid just shows that the new board members can't handle the pressure placed on them by people who have a vendetta. I would rather have seem someone that has dedicated their life to Elliott County's children have gotten this. They at least have earned it and deserve it. But apparently the new board doesen't think anyone in Elliott County is smart enough to handle the job.

I would rather have someone from Ellott County looking out for my children's welfare any day of the week than someone with no vested interest in this county or it's children.

And going against the majority.

A Young board showing that they have the guts to do whats best for students ,, all students. so called paying your dues is not the way to select someone for super, It looks as if most of the county was ready for new ideals and leadership in the school, my thanks you need to get a bigger group of people to talk to then your Isonville group
