Well, the CRR threads ARE the most popular here in the Ellijay Forum.
It's like the Cool Kids table. I want to sit here with you all, but I'm not part of the crowd :(

We went to the evening meeting Thursday. We are on a fixed income and don't want to pay more than our fair share. We learned we are already. The people from the commitee we spoke with were kind and answered our questions and we think we will vote in favor of it. We listened to others speak and at times we were suprized the committee let them go on, because they didnt make any since. We think they did a fine job with what they had to do and thought many in the crowd were rude. We want what is best for CRR and if we have to pay a little more for that we will. We think we will be paying more anyways and mitaswell pay for the better and not the worse. it is fair we who are here pay more than those who just own lots. Seems funny so many of you dont see that. just our 2 cents worth. we love it on our site and dont get involved to much.

If you were really at the meeting on Thursday you would have found out that the campground owners are at this time slated to pay less.
So it really isn't a surprise that you would be for it even though that isn't what you signed up for here. We were all supposed to pay the same because you have the ability to use the amenities the same. I was at the meeting and everyone made sense, everyone spoke well and became well prepared to state their point. Meeting minutes will be posted on the CRR site shortly in case your memory needs to be refreshed.

No I cant, Serioiusly. I bougt a deed restricted site from CRR. I am allowed 180 days here. But I'm paying for 365 days.

are you being discriminated against, there are people there that bought and they get to be there 365 days. What is wrong with this picture.

CRR doesn't enforce that. It's your home, stay there as long as you like. What are they going to do, call the police and drag you out of your own place??

I had no clue there were deed-restricted sites in the CG!! Are they ALL deed-restricted? If so, how do people get away with owning them, putting a camper on them and renting them out as HOMES to people? However, the fact that you ARE a lot owner should allow you to be on the private forum.

They have started a lot of crap this year and have successfully divided CRR. They just can't stand getting caught stand being called on it. It's been non-stop this past year with no end in sight.

I just bought in the emc resort and agreed to pay my dues for the aminities. i also plan to spend the summer up here. i dont think it matters how much you have invested, isn't the dues for the pools and such. the only problem i have with the camp section is the junk that needs to clean it up or take it out. just a new guys opinion on things. just reading and trying to understand things.

All CG lots owned by CRR have been deed restricted to 180 days of use per year. Any lots sold by private owners do not have this restriction.

If CRR has lots that they sell that won't let you stay more than 180 days that is good. I didn't know they did. Hope you only have to pay half your dues.

I have been asking for an update on the tiered dues plan but nothing as of yet. Two months ago they asked for a 3 month extension, hopefully it was for a good reason. I know there has been other plans submitted but no other info available.

I AM A NEW CAMPGROUND OWNER. I HAVE TO PAY THE SAME AS EVERYONE ELSE ON DUES. I COULD STAY EVERY WEEKEND OR ALL SUMMER IF I WANT. ITS NOT ALOT OF MONEY TO ENJOY THE AMMINITIES HERE, EVEN FOR THE SUMMER. I AM CONCERNED ABOUT THE MONTHLY WATER THOUGH. THEY WANT ME TO PAY YEAR ROUND AND I WONT BE HERE FOR 6 MONTHS. THEY NEED 1- FULL TIME 2- PART TIME 3-SEASONAL. BUT OVERALL I ENJOY IT HERE SO FAR AND HAVE MET ALOT OF GOOD PEOPLE.

Tiered dues will be back on the agenda at the regular August monthly board meeting. Please plan to attend it is the 3rd Saturday of the month. They are supposed to present a new plan

Bet they will do it at the anual meeting. Sneaks. Should have a limit on how much the board can make dues go up. Should give camp people who can't be there more than 1/2 year a break. They won't get anything passed with new board members. Hoose going to be pres, vp, etc?
Personaly if they do a tierd thing that doest take us backwards it will maybe a good thing. Gotta sell lots and no one wants to buy because we still have to many cheap forclosures. Why build when you can by cheap? Everyone is bottom feeding stil.
Someone told me they talked about doing away with that $500 fee but it would cost each prop over $30 more a year. Why is that? Don't seem right.
People that run this place are strange.
