If the shoe fits ... I guess you don't like his constant questioning, and having the guts to stand up and confront people that have made inappropriate or indefensible positions. It takes a lot of courage to do what Randy Bell has done and he deserves our votes. He certainly won't be getting any of our money since it is an unpaid position. He spends more time at the BOC meetings and researching the issues than most of the other members.

While on this topic I will make another observation. I don't understand how Jerry Tuso and Tony Arbucci can have the same number of votes. Even though I think Randy Bell is the best qualified and most dedicated, Jerry Tuso has also attended meetings, he is very conservative, well educated and also wants to get the county back on the right track. However, I have never seen him stand up at a meeting and confront issues. But Tony Arbucci, has NEVER attended a single meeting. Has never seen the budget, at least hadn't as of 2 weeks ago. He is a local businessman who works hard and also wants the county to stop spending money they don't have. His heart is in the right place, but when questioned, which I did personally, he doesn't have any ideas on how to do anything any different. He resents and regrets that the county spent money building the courthouse, the library, remodeling the civic center, etc. things that upset us all, but they are already completed, the money spent and we need people that will work on renegotiating the bonds, reducing the debt, combining some of our expenditures, agencies, and duplicate jobs, and Tony has no experience at any of this and, as I noted above, has no clue what has already been done or attempted in this county since he has never attended a meeting. Just my thoughts.

Just my thoughts. Hey, not a bad post!! Just one area or two where you kinda went astray..In my humble opinion, Randy will never be able to work with the other commissioners because he has been attacking them, is always right about everything (not true) and remember, with just one vote, he wont be able to get anything done...He needs to stay where he is....On the other hand, Tony might or might be able to get along, who knows as we have never seen him in action and neither he nor Randy have ever participated in Republican Party meetings, activities, conventions or candidate support..Just because you vote republican, doesnt necessarily mean you are one..You are right, Tuso is not in your face confrontational..From my observation, he always appears to be a gentleman and listens to all sides of a position before making a decision and he prefers to lead by common sense and persuasion by making solid good points on any issue..I think he can work with the commissioners and get things done..

Typically, polling software uses cookies to specifically prevent viewers from voting more than once. Go try and vote for someone repeatedly. You'll see.

Coot~ Since I have an account here, I can vote once under my name. Then I could log out and vote once more. So I could cheat and vote twice. I don't do that. Main reason, I'm too lazy to log out and mess around here under anonymous, then go log back in and continue.
The other reason is,
I don't have another reason. I don't care :D I think Randy is going to clinch this.

I rest my case..Obviously others are voting more than once..I was not accusing you of anything, I was just saying it can be done..I think it will be close but he hasnt clinched anything yet...

Old Coot wrote: <quoted text>..I was not accusing you of anything, Oh no no! I didn't think you were. I'm wondering if a person cleared their cookies after every vote, if they could vote repeatedly? But that would take energy. I don't turn my computer off but rarely, because I have to re-sign in to every website I have an account with. Blah! I need instant gratification.

Dead people elected a Kenyan stoner as President, so I'm not too concerned about a poll on topix. IRL, most people I've met support Bell.
