I have the worse experience with Henderson Webb. INC. too. They never think about their bad service to the tenants. They charge you by making up unreal document to cover their mistake. If you are not strong enough, don't try to do business with this company.

Henderson-Webb is the worst property managment company tyhat I've seen in 30 years in the buisiness. Since March 12, 2009 maitenance has been in my apartment 32 different times. They have violated the lease multiple times. WhenI complained they sent me a notice that I had violated the rules and further complaints will not be heard. I've never!!!!!

Henderson-Webb is the worst apartment complex to deal with. I had lived there for almost four years. The security door was broken three years out of the whole time I stayed there. Also, the compressor in the refridgerator went up which cost me alot of money for me to refill my refridgerator and freezer back up. This also caused damage to the carpet and gave an awful smell throughout the apartment. When my daughter became pregnant we outgrew our apartment and I had bought a house. I thought after a year we were on a month to month lease. We werent and as a result they are now suing me for the remainder of my time and the cost of the lawyer fees. If anyone out there wants an apartment please reconsider Henderson-Webb they are not about the people they are a business as stated from the renters office when I had spoken to them on several occasions to work things out to resolve the issue. I have known other apartment complexes to work out arrangements with people without giving them a hard time especially with the economy the way it is now. If there are any lawyers out there who can help me I would greatly appreciate this also.
Thanks |

i believe all the comment placed here, I'm a new tenant of this company namely in Essex. It is my first time renting. When I moved in the place was never cleaned. Their excused was there was no electricity. The maintenace guy refused to show up for repairs and when they do its often part of the work being done, one portion one day next portion two three days after (if you re lucky). They will sneaked into the apt without your knowledge for alleged inspection of work done, Duh??? The work hasnt begun how can you inspect. To date I'm still waiting for the thermostat to be change. There is no heat. When I bathed and wash a few pieces of dishes there is no hot water for most of the day.
The neighbors are a night mare from hell, as I mentioned I'm new to this type of living; my neighbor about me has one child that runs in the apt during the day. the adults walk as though they are in a marching band(being modest). The entire nights are spent trying to get some sleep because almost every night the couple walks very heavily throughout the apt. why I cant say, but peace and quiet is a luxury. A new neighbor moved in next door recently. There was noise noise noise for the last month or more. The noise ended when one member was thrown out of the apt and the police got involved. One would assumed that was the end of the noise, no mam. The male has some 'strange' characters entering the building; folks ringing other ppl buzzing asking to be let into the building. Over night visitors leaving the next day, loud arguments. Its only two months since that person moved in. The hallway smelled like cigarettes, imagine my allergy to cigarette smoke, I'm continuously coughing. The doors to the apt are painted in prison cells color grey. I have never seen the door to an apartment painted in grey in all history of renting. Henderson-Webb since this is a business dont you think your tenants deserved some respect. What company allows their staff to enter a person 'space' under the guised of doing maintenace work, how urgent is that work that it has to be done in the absence of the tenant, secondly why inspections are done in the absence of the tenants. I smell more than fish here. Last but not least, has anyone notice that when you paid rent at the drop box on the 5th of the month how the payment is taken longer and longer to postto your account. Is this an attempt to get unlawful late fees from the tenant. No one is at the drop box site after lunch on the 4th of the month, therefore no receipt of payment. Why Why, this isnt all the complains, I'm being nice eg try bathing in a tub without a stopper and washing in the dish washer which has broken rollers the stacked tray cannot roll out or in, try listening to the fridge dripping water every other day and the noise of the motor on a daily basis. Oh my Goodness what a business the tenants are not respected. Caustiouly awaiting the company response. I bet you that it will be along the lines,if and when repairs are done we have to increase the rent to ....did you say some benjamins? I'll end here... A person living in a palace looks over his porch, sees his neighbor living in a box and walk away with tilted head will one day have the same experience, but without help. LIFE IS A CIRCULAR YOU REAP WHAT YOU SOW. |

I live in Southwoods in Essex. Maintenance workers here seem to think they are co-tenants. They are constantly entering my apartment without prior notice for non-emergency reasons. Complaints to customer service get this lame "we have right-of-entry" response. Well, three time in the past few months I have awakened to find maintenance workers in my apartment. Landlords cannot just enter your home without permission if you are present. Once, I was awakened by maintenance workers knocking on my bedroom door, saying they were there for a housekeeping inspection. What he hell? This isn't a military barracks or a prison, where I can be rousted out of bed for inspection.
And I'm told I'm in violation of the housekeeping clause of my lease, because of a fire hazard created by my many books and magazines. Of course, the Baltimore County Fire Department says it is only a fire hazard if heat source is nearby. One isn't, but try telling H-W that. I mean, libraries and bookstores burn down every week, right? |
