Slater for Sheriff

When we moved to Cecil, it was right before the last election for Sheriff. My parents introduced us to Janney. We did not know the county at the time, but now a few years later we sure do.

We met Dan Slater at an event and was floored by his professionalism and character. Had no idea that he was from another city, now it made sense!

He really has a great plan for this county and the citizens. Do you realize that Ceil is in the top 5 for the most crime in the state of Maryland?

Since he has so much experience a drug agent, he knows so much and the solutions.

We have learned when we lived there that Cecil and the good ole boys and people that are connected, are the only ones that the county listens to. This is pathetic. We noticed more and more transplants (as we were called) are moving here and I pray and hope they can make the chances in Cecil, and get the bad and ugly out of offices...one by one!

Hope all will come out and Slater or Sutton will go into office. We a man in office that is respected by his deputies and citizens of this county. Sheriff Janney needs to go. He is nothing but a short coming of false promises. Slater has great ideas along with Sutton on how to improve this way of life in the county. Along with making his deputies happy. If you make us the deputies happy, we would be more happy out in the field and citizens would be more happy with us. Vote against Janney. We need a man in office.

I too met Slater a year ago, and back then I was impressed. He was very kind and very smart. He talked about running for Sheriff and best of luck to him. The county needs so many changes, and starting with a good Sheriff is comforting. Next should be the commissioners, and keep it going. Maybe my kids will see what a real commmunity should be like.

I too live in Cecil County and I too know Janney, Slater, and Sutton.. I think Sutton is THE choice for sheriff. Slater just wants to be sheriff cause he doesn't like Janney...Sutton is committed to the deputies and their concerns AS WELL AS the citizens of Cecil county. You may be correct about Janney, however he seems to really want to do the right thing and make changes.

Slater does NOT seem like the person who is going to stand up for his PEOPLE- both the public and his deputies? Slater is not the "fight for what you want" guy with the commissionsers to get things done. I know Sutton is the Deputy/Supervisor NOW that makes me believe he will ccontinue that fight for his people on office

Slater will stand up for use, the deputies. He has some great ideas that the deputies and citizens will enjoy. It would be so so so awesome and the county will be changed when slater comes into office. Slater has good deputies that that respect him. Get Janney out and replace him with Sheriff Slater. I will go into the office myself with empty boxes to help small town Janney pack his things. Plus i will give him some bubble wrap.

Why don't the duputies like Slater? He seems very nice and qualified.

Did they stand behind Janney too? Because he is from here?

Union Hospital worker was being spoken to. NOT ME! Maybe, just maybe, others heard it to. Maybe the same people that Janney hung out with at parties. I was called by one of those people that was with Janney at a party and wanted to confront him. I said no.
HR did their job and i was cleared. Then Janneys "SPICE GIRLS" started acting like elementary kids.

Sutton was friends with Janney and helped him get into office against Sheriff Rodney Kennedy. Sheriff Janney and Sutton were friends and had a big fall out. Sutton hates Janney with a pation and ran for Sheriff to get back at Janney. Sutton runs his campaign to ridicule Janney. Sutton's caimpaign manaager Kim Dixon was fired by Janney for leaking information from the sheriffs department. Slater has no ties with Sheriff Janney except working at the Sheriff's Department. NOW THATA THE WHOLE TRUTH AND NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH......gotta go Gotham is calling.
