Jealous to become NAACP's new president, CEO

I hope he can bring some relevancy to the organization. I doubt it, though. I remember having my application rejected in the mid 80's. I guess I wasn't rich enough......

What is the purpose of the NAACP? They are a useless organization who supports illegal immigration and granting citizenship and amnesty to an estimate 20 million illegal aliens. I would never give this organziation a dime again. They have lost their focus and are inclusive of Central Americans/Mexicans/South Americans/Dominicans. La Raza the racist Hispanic organization isn't inclusive of blacks into their membership.

No, there's nothing more obnoxious than an Association which has deviated its purpose. It makes us think, who is our money going to now.

Women in the NAACP support progress in the NAACP. This guy is progress. This guy is relevant. This guy is SMART and educated. This guy is multi-racial and "connected" in the best ways--to a city and family with deep roots in the Civil Rights Movement--to a movement of human rights activists on a world-wide
scale--in other words, to the best in all of us. It's about time to hear from the next generation, don't you think?

AMEN! It's like the unions, they are both USELESS.

Lets hope that he can change the focus of this organization from its emphasis on being victims to actually doing something for the people it supposedly represents. Two people he should pay attention to are Bill Cosby and locally Gregory Kane. He should totally ignore Jesse, Al and Kweisi.

I truly hope the NAACP Board has made the correct decision in selecting Mr. Jealous. It is time for the NAACP to adopt technology and increase its membership by going after the youth market. Change is always good and it will be good to change younger.

Congratulations to the entire Board of the NAACP for your efforts to continue to move the organization forward. From a pool that was a bounty of riches in experience, talent, and credibility, the NAACP selected a person with outstanding creditials. Mr. Jealous certainly ought to be able to capture the hearts and minds of young America, to bring them, and others into the fold, thereby developing new leadership and interest that bodes well for the future of the Association.

These United States of America helmed by a well educated, experienced, activist and sensitive man of openly acknowledged multiracial heritage, and an American Icon, the NAACP led by a well educated, experienced, informed, activist and sensitive man of openly acknowledged multiracial heritage. Each married to well educated African American women,-- community contributors in their own right-- lawyers, activists, dedicated to change, families and human rights. Idiots like you is the reason why NAACP has lost it's mission and serve no purpose. Why don't you go join the racist organization La Raza? I doubt if they let Negroes join, because La Raza (the Race) is a racist Hispanic organization who have their own agenda, which doesn't include Negroes. The influx of illegal aliens from Mexico, El Salvador, Dominican Republic, and other Central/South American countries will be the destruction of the black community. Latinos/Hispanics numbers are increasing daily with the high birth rates and the influx of illegal aliens into both black and white neighborhoods. The NAACP should be in the fore front against this crisis, but they sit silently on the sideline along with the Congressional Black Caucus.

However, I have to laugh at a guy that looks whiter than George W Bush talking about "the struggle" and prejudice. If this guy walked down the street EVERYONE would say he is white. The NAACP should stop worrying about donations, kowtowing to the Democrat Party and start looking out for African Americans !!! Hint--allying itself to La Raza (who are extremely anti-african) makes them Left wing toadies. Not the NAACP of Rev Martin Luther King !!
