This was wrote in 2007. Take a look here.Though the war in Iraq now costs about $120B a year, two authors (one a Nobel prize winner) estimates the total cost of this war exceeds 2 Trillion Dollars.
“Accrued liabilities for U.S. federal employees’ and veterans’ benefits now total $4.5 trillion. Indeed, our debt for veterans’ health and disability payments has risen by $228 billion in the past year alone…The Congressional Budget Office estimates that the interest payments on the money borrowed to finance the Iraq war will total $264 billion to $308 billion.” That $2,000,000,000,000? Well, that amount of money could’ve built solar thermal plants here that would have provided energy for 2/3rds of our nation’s energy demand. |

Judged: 1 1 1 I have lived in CA for almost ten years now representing a German High-tech company; I can assure you Californians are smart, hardworking and first rate Americans. I'm assuming your question is of political nature meant to inflict insult. The US Gov't would be well advised to start seriously planning for the long run in rapidly changing world, instead of the day to day bickering and one-upmanship that has become the daily routine in DC. Closing the Ports of El A and Oakland would effectively lay off one third of CA workers and would represent the equivalent of declaring war on China. Americans, these days, hear a lot about the need to vanquish their supposed enemies abroad with bullets, bombs, and other tools of overwhelming force. Evidence that a common humanity can be called upon to settle differences is scarce among conservatives. |

Judged: 1 *** Obama’s Former Doctor Blasts The President by Frank York on May 11, 2012 · 1 comment so far: A new book, The Amateur by Edward Klein includes an interview with Dr. David Scheiner, MD who is Barack Obama’s former doctor. According to Scheiner, Obama has an “academic detachment” that he could never break through. Scheiner reveals Obama’s lack of humanity and carelessness in forcing through Obamacare. Scheiner says of Obama:“I think there is too much of the University of Chicago in him. By which I mean he’s academic, lacks passion and feeling, and doesn’t have the sense of humanity that I expected.” “My main objection to Barack Obama is that he is a great speaker and a lousy communicator. He isn’t getting his message across to people. He isn’t showing that he really cares. To this day he hasn’t communicated with members of Congress,” says Scheiner, who is a liberal. 1 comment so far: The good (?) doctor is wrong. Obama has gotten his message across to the people. The people DON’T LIKE THE MESSAGE! Also he has communicated with the people and the people have seen what Obama really is, a communist who wants to destroy the United States. This is what the Constitution defines as a TRAITOR! 1): one who betrays another’s trust or is false to an obligation or duty 2): one who commits treason. _______ President Obama's former doctor claims that the president lacks passion, feeling and humanity by Jarrett Stepman05/11/2012480 In a revealing new book, The Amateur, author Edward Klein interviews President Barack Obama’s physician, Dr. David Scheiner, MD, who blasts the president’s health care plan and says that President Obama has an “academic detachment” that he could never break through. http://www.humanevents.com/article.php... |

Judged: 3 1 1 For those unfamiliar with the term I used ODESSA, which stands for the German phrase Organisation der ehemaligen SS-Angehörigen, which in turn translates as “Organization of Former Members of the SS,” is the name given to an international Nazi network alleged to have been set up towards the end of World War II by a group of SS officers in order to prevent their prosecutions for war crimes. This organization,, takes its name from Frederick Forsyth's 1972 best-seller thriller The Odessa File, which fictionalized an SS network named ODESSA (the above cited Organisation der ehemaligen SS-Angehörigen) that smuggled war criminals to Latin America. The purpose of such networks was to establish and facilitate secret escape routes, later known as ratlines, out of Germany to South America and the Middle East for hunted members. With alleged ties to Argentina, Egypt, Brazil, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, and the Vatican, they operated out of Buenos Aires and helped such World War II war criminals as Adolf Eichmann, Josef Mengele, Erich Priebke, Aribert Heim, Edward Roschmann, and many other SS members to find refuge in Latin America and the Middle East. SS-Obersturmbannführer Otto Skorzeny and Sturmbannführer Alfred Naujocks were both believed to have been active in such organizations, but positive proof for these suppositions has not yet been produced. Similarly, General Reinhard Gehlen’s entire intelligence organisation, which was employed and protected by U.S. intelligence within a few months after the end of the war, came under suspicion of being a satellite group of the ODESSA. In Argentina, Rodolfo Freude was allegedly a member of the network. It is alleged that Hans-Ulrich Rudel was active in the Argentina group of the ODESSA. Alois Brunner is alleged to have escaped to Syria using the resources of the ODESSA. Persons claiming to represent the ODESSA claimed responsibility in a note for the 9 July 1979 car bombing in France aimed at anti-Nazi activists Serge and Beate Klarsfeld. In December 2002, the Argentine government in Buenos Aires refused calls from the Wiesenthal Center for the release of 58 files dealing with the escape of Nazis to Argentina. However, two of the files were opened in July 2003 and the Argentine government since then has cooperated with the investigations Some believe they are alive and well and have a plan to collapse the world banking system in order to re-establish the 4th Reich on a global scale. I have no clue of its existence, but we are on the brink of a global financial collapse? |

Judged: 1 1 1 In an article recently publicized, it is believed (and there evidence) that Breitbart was poisoned by someone he was sitting next to at a bar on the night that he died. None of his symptoms , bright red skin, white band around the forehead match up to someone dying from heart failure or enlarged heart. It is suspect because of the testimony of the witness who described him as having bright red skin and a white band around his head that medical experts have described as something interfering with blood pressure. Dropping like a sack of potatoes, as described by the witness - closely resembles someone whose death and symptoms could be caused from Sodium Azide. According to the CDC, Center for Disease Control, Sodium Azide is deadly. "Sodium azide is a rapidly acting, potentially deadly chemical that exists as an odorless white solid. " According to the CDC, these are some of the symptoms that precede death from Sodium Azide: Exposure to a large amount of sodium azide by any route may cause these other health effects as well: Convulsions Low blood pressure Slow heart rate Loss of consciousness Lung injury Respiratory failure leading to death. There will probably be more of this coming out in the near future, given the fact that few days before the Coroner's report was to be released, Michael Cormier (a technician in the Coroner's office) had excruciating stomach pains and checked himself into the Kaiser Permanente hospital. They kept him for observation overnight and then released him the next day. Shortly thereafter he fell ill again and this second time he died. The apparent cause of death is arsenic poisoning. As he was incapacitated and dying the release of the coroner's report was announced for the next day on Breitbart. This article from L.A. Times describes Sodium Azide: Harvard University poisoning: What is sodium azide, anyway? http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/booster_shots... |

Judged: 2 2 1 George H. W. Bush signed into law ALL the new EPA regulations that now threaten to close power plants. . As the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency prepares to release new Mercury and Air Toxics Standards (MATS), some people may be wondering about the history and timeline for these standards. One Senator recently claimed that EPA is “charging ahead” with them. These standards, however, have been in development for over 20 years. These are standards that many plants are already meeting. Furthermore, 11 of the 15 largest coal utilities, roughly half of the nation’s coal fleet, have informed their shareholders that they are well positioned to meet them. This post unwraps the history, standards, and timelines for compliance. http://insights.wri.org/news/2011/12/epa-merc... |
