This place is super for receptions. My frineds had theors there and they collected old blk & whit photos fromn the museum of when it was the masons lodge. and then they had photos taken out and around the building in the city type setting and in the streets and along the brick walls. Ive never seen anything so cool. very hip sheek and trendy. I just loved it. Their photos were just amazing. The inside was cool to with the original hand made stained glass window and the cool structure handcrafted by the masons. I dont know how to explain it but it was just very a very cool place for a wedding and reception.

Though it all turned out to be a wonderful and beautiful wedding, The 112 Club owner and DJ (his son) and formal affiars (his wife) were a nightmare to work with! They were the most unorganized and unproffessional set up i've ever encountered! If you have patients and are easy going (and prepared to be more stressed out then need be) Then i'd highly recommend giving it a try! Its a good value/ but not as good as they make it out to be. And a wonderfully, beautiful place to celebrate! But just be prepared!

The more organized the bride and groom are the better you event will go. If you are an unorganzied stressed out couple then things will be unorganized and stressed out. Bu goin on line an saying something negative about a company that has been in business for over 20 years is probably an example of how easy you were to work with. I feel sorry for those nice people if they had to put up with someone like you. They probably did a great job sounds like you had fun but just cant accept the fact that that it was probably as much your fault as anyones elses. We did a complete package with them and we stay in contact with them through out the the entire process and our event was smoth and enjoyable and we even made friend with their son and we go on canoew trips together. It sounds like you said it turned out to be a wonder beautiful wedding and that you need patients. you also said its a good value and a wonderful beautiful place to celebrate and to be prepared. Maybe you shoudl have left it at that. Have a happy marriage. Congrats. We enjoyed our experience with the owners. And 112 WAS a beatuiful place to have a celebration,. We had great service and it was very personalized. Ryan the (DJ) and the (TUX GUY) even gave me his personal cell phone number to discuss details and to stay in touch with him during the entire process. My wife was very organized and is a joy, so the staff and owners and INGRID the (DRESS LADY) meshed with us very well. I would say that just like with any relationship, doing business with a small company and working directly with the owners is like being in a relationship during planning an event like a wedding!. You should be ashamed of yourselves for trying to make someone else look bad in this situation. Trying to knock down a reputable business and family that has worked together for over 20 years. I think its commendable that a son mother and father have worked together in that type of climate for so long and can still find the joy to goto work every day knowing they will have to try to please people like you, that no matter what they do will try to tear them down. I would recommend Formal Affairs to anyone. I hope they stay in business for another 20 years. Our experiance was GREAT and we have pictures and great memories to prove it. We love you Ingrid!

People online say the darndest things! Have you ever noticed that very rarely you hear nice things about a business. People have the annonimity online so they say mean and rude things and exaggerate the issues to try to make a point. They wait till after the event then complain instead of handling issues face to face or during the process. Hope all you negative people feel better now that you have vented! Congratulations on your marriage! Wow.
