Greyhound bus drivers

has anyone reading this ever or currently driving a bus for greyhound? I am thinking about a career in this field. Could you please tell me about being a bus driver, it ups and downs, its payscale, hours, etc. Also could you tell me what type of cdl license is required, and could you give me names of other long distance bus carriers? Would you recommend this as a good career choice? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

actually no I'm not from Canada I'm from the midwestern United States..the location is just a default location that it reads on topix..and I'd appreciate if only people with firsthand knowledge of the career would reply..thanks

YOU are the complete and total loser, one without an education. It's YOU'RE, not "your". And you're also a heartless person to reply to someone just wanting help with such mean words. You need to get a life...at least some people are trying to better themselves, as opposed to sitting at home behind the computer trying to make others feel like shit. Ah, first, go on their website, click on careers. It'll tell ya all ya need to know. Talk to the drivers, most of em have been with the company for twenty plus years, but things change along the way. You shouldn't be late for work seeing how you're currently sleepin behind the bus station.

Next, google 'tour' companies. There about four billion, take your pick. Again, click on careers.

Some routes are local, so are OTR, depends on want ya want. All are regulated by the DOT and will list requirements.

Guess NASA isn't hiring right now, huh there rocket scientist?
(although they do have double decker bus tours of the Cape)
