i think that we shouldntcomment on things when we are so ignorent at doing so.i believe she has paid her debt to society i know she is one of god's children and if she has repented for her involvement than she has been forgiven. we shouldnt judge her we are too ignorent to judge . we need to leave that to god.in my on opinion people who cant voice thier own opinions without bad words are childish and shouldnt be making comments at all. tinky winky and the jury need to find a church and let it be read to them out of the bible tho shall not judge the only progress that pat may have over you is that she asked for forgiveness have you lately? god loves everyone even pat columbo

I've read "LOVE'S BLOOD" and after reading it i feel that there were alot of things to take into consideration. I know that what she did was wrong but you cant help but to feel for her because of all that she went through. Time and again she called out for help and it went unanswered. People are quick to condem others mistakes but turn the other cheek when it comes to themselves. Patricia Columbo has paid her dues and i hope that one day the parole board will allow her to live the rest of her life free.

30 years have gone by and she is showing signs of rehabilitation.
lets see how she's doing in 30 years. |
I have met Patricia and she is a wonderful person full of love and respect for others. She is a changed woman. Think how much you have changed in 30 years (IF YOUR THAT OLD) She deserves a chance. She will always have to live with what she did. God changed her. She is no longer the same person. |

SHE STILL KILLED OFF HER FAMILY WITH THE HELP OF HER BOY FRIEND OF THE TIME FRANK ?

There are some things for which there is simply no redemption. This is one of those things. She needs to stay in jail for the rest of her life; and the sooner it ends the better.

She was 19 years old when she committed these heinous crimes against her family. She is around 50 years old now. She has been a model prisoner over the past 20 years. She is not the same person she was 30 years ago. Let there be hope for those that behave and relief for those that pay taxes.
His name is Frank DeLuca. I sat through most of the trial. |
It's easy to be a "model" in a place where your are allowed no room for deviation. She was a deviate when she murdered her family, including her little brother. She *should* have fried. Hopefully, she'll die in prison. |
I couldn't agree more. Any merciful display would only serve as a slap to the victims and the remaining family members. And as does frequently occur, the justice system would once again fail society. She should had faced execution had that option been available. Her victims were shown no mercy. |
I'll have to read that book, because I would be interested to know what she went thru that would make her kill her family. |
Oh, SWEET JESUS!!!! No one "made" her do anything!!! She was 19 years old; and an adult when she slaughtered her parents and stabbed her little brother 87 times. IF she was high when she stabbed her little brother 87 times, she made the “choice” to get high. IF she was told to stab her little brother 87 times, she made the “choice” to do it. IF she didn’t do anything to stop someone from stabbing her little brother 87 times, she “chose” to do it. She needs to die, or at least die in prison. |
She had no problem taking out her whole family. she admitted it was for the money. They slit her mothers throat and stabbed her little brothe 87 times before putting a bullet in them.
30 years is not justice. They were sentenced to 200-300 years. If that were your mother or little brother she killed wouldn't you want her to pay. And they were not only killed they were tortured. For their money. Three peoples lives taken. I speak for them because she took their voice away from them. Especially the little child. Justice is 200-300 years as she was sentenced. |

I'm sorry, I completely disagree with you. I am a survivor of almost the exact same situation. I was repeatedly abused as a child by a family member that was deeply trusted. I reached out for help and no one answered so I did the only other thing I could think of.....I helped myself! I went to therapy, finished college, got married and had children. Even though my marriage failed I am still friends with my exhusband and my children are now happy, healthy well adjusted adults. I'm not going to say it was easy but I fought to save myself! My relationship with my family is strong and I would never ever contemplate hurting any of them. I'm sorry.....Tricia needs to stay where she is and pay for her crimes. I'm personally offended that she uses her abuse as an excuse. |

She should remain in jail, I think due to the nature of the crime and how horrendous the crime was explemplifies the need for capital punishment

I read the book. I saw nothing that excused her actions. I was unable to pull up the article to get more information on her wanting to get out. Even if she has finally admitted to killing her family she has no business getting out of prison.
