I agree joeineg: Jim Cooper, Mike Leary, Sophia have decided for Elk Grove that an outdoor mall will keep people away from Arden. These cops dont have a clue. How did a cop ever get in charge of running a city? Are we supposed to be happy we have a new Target coming? I'd rather go to the Galt auction.

Im graduating college in 2009 and was planning to move to elk grove. Ive lived in south sac my whole life and when i graduate ill be making big bucks....but i guess im moving to west sac now or staying in south sac.
I hate hwy 99 from elk grove to folsom. forsure ill be living close to i-5. |

Too much of the Bay area trash has moved in there and in South Sac. |

Whose bright idea was it to make this an outdoor mall? I rarely go to the downtown mall because of this.
They can't put high-end stores in this mall because everyone in Elk Grove is foreclosing and can not afford the high-end stores. |

My neighbor's best friend is on the board...he told me Macy's pulled out. It won't be in the news for a while because the mall's opening is pushed back a whole year from Sept. 08. |

Seems logical, I dont think Macy's is doing that great that they would take a chance in a outdoor mall with a Target in Elk Grove.

Lets just hope that Tiffany's really does come here. It'd be nice to shop in a mall where there isn't a thug around every corner. Hopefully there will be extreme security there too. Too bad it Is so close to what was once a nice community (Laguna).

It's closer to Elk Grove and Franklin area, do you know where it's being built? There is a Target coming in to this outdoor mall, does that answer your question about thugs? Take the drive to Roseville.
