I look at it this way, if there were no marines, no soliders, there more than likely would be no teachers either. You have to have some one to protect your way of life which could mean dieing for what you believe in. I served or military proudly and I understand this more than you will ever know unless you to served. The US is the best because we protect our way of life at all cost. Some times I don't agree with what goes on like the present war, my point you wouldn't have one without the other.
