I am a Christian, but there is no evidence that Jesus was born on or around what we now celebrate as Christmas (the Bible doesn't mention a date at all). Just thought I'd clear that up. Also, according to the U.S. Constitution, the city can't put up just decorations with Christian symbols, for example, at the park because that would show that they are favoring one religion over another. This is why most of the decorations at the park are candy canes, reindeer, etc. because they are secular.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS IS MOST APPROPRIATE FROM WHERE I STAND. THIS GREETING IS MEANT TO EXPRESS JOY AND HAPPINESS THROUGHOUT THE SEASON. "HAVE A MERRY CHRISTMAS" IS MEANT MORE TOWARD THE DAY SET ASIDE TO CELEBRATE JESUS BIRTH. THE HOLIDAY SEASON COULD/SHOULD BE FILLED WITH THE SPIRIT OF JOY AND HAPPINESS. APPARENTLY YOU HAVE MISSED THIS PART. THOSE OF YOU WHO WANT TO DICTATE YOUR NARROW, SINGLE MINDED BELIEFS ON EVERYONE ARE A DANGER TO SOCIETY. HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO EVERYONE, AND DON'T FORGET TO GIVE THANKS ON THANKSGIVING AND EVERY DAY FOR THE FREEDOM TO SAY TO SAY HAPPY HOLIDAYS AND MERRY CHRISTMAS.

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Aries

Christmas Eve finds you happy and eager to get the most out of the day. You're in a rather sentimental mood, so if you've got time you'll relish the chance to watch a favourite film, especially if it means you've got to get out the hankies. A friend's kindness or sensitivity will delight you - and make you wonder how you can reciprocate.
