Anyone who owns a truck,,,,shut them down!!!!!!!!!!
A message needs to be sent to the fuel producers, and the government that grinding all of our livelihoods, families, our hopes and dreams into the ground threw ridicules fuel prices is not just going to break us alone, but is a national security issue at the core.
When milk is ten dollars a gallon, there is no clothing at Wal-mart, there is no fuel at the gas stations, and no food at the grocery stores, people will start to scream. There are more important issues than politics!!! There are national economic disasters looming on the horizon. The housing bale out is just one. The economy survives on the commodities that are freighted across its lands.
I am a private owner/operator that will shut down rather than go on making the fuel companies richer, and allowing the government to ignore and burry their heads in the sand hoping the problem goes away. Deregulation started this and regulation has to be put back in place to regulate fair profits for the fuel companies, and make them more competitive. And doing so will force government to ease the regulations that govern the building of new refineries, and force them to keep the price down.
If Venezuelans can produce a gallon of gas for 50 cents and then sell it at a profit at $1.00, does that mean we have such different refining practices? I don’t think so. Profits and greed are driving this. Do not be fooled into believing the fuel industries lies about costs. There are some Companies who are buying gas and diesel already refined from unfriendly nations and this has to be stopped!!!!!!!

The gold from the Elk City Gold mine is going to Canada! The mine is going to harm our water supply, clean air and peace and quiet. There will be lots of noise for 20 hours a day, dust and chemical smell. Chemicals will be on the narrow winding roads every day with the hazard of spills with contamination. Fish will be effected as will other wildlife. Trees will be strip logged off and a mess will be left that is contaminated. All for a little gold? NO NO NO

this is just what elk city needs and all the surrounding communities. there is nothing hardly left in these small towns anymore now that almost all the sawmills are shut down and nobody will let us log anything. nobody can make a living and support their families anymore. if these mines were opened i think it would be just the thing we need to bring our communities back to life

Yep. Trees are cut down. What could we use now? I know! A big hole in the ground. Couldn't possibly do any harm could it? Isn't cyanide a natural product? In years to come we could convert the hole into a marina. I mean the companuy would guarantee safety, right?(Though they do have a habit of going bankrupt once the cash starts to run out, but the locals can pay for the cleanup then...cos Local boy will have had lots of money from the mine....

How is that working out?

I do understand-even with my small construction business-and the economy-strangling me out!

I dont get why the govt seems to turn a deaf ear to these problems...we are only seeing the beginning I feel!

why not make an agreement with the company like a contract. saying that they will clean up the mess and any problems do to the chemicals including the water. and if they don't stand by the contract you could sew them.

Daily Horoscope for January 4

Taurus

If your goals are fairly modest in the short term, they are achievable and you're likely to get some praise for achievements along the way. If you aim too high too quickly, others might not take you seriously or think you're being uppity and you could come unstuck. It's all a question of attitude and approach. There are contradictory influences over the next ten days but there could also be good luck coming your way.
