music of choice

Just wondering what music yall listen to and what stations rock around here.

most of us listen to 98.9fm country or 106.7fm which is classic rock. Some listen to 95.5

the radio stations so far suck up here...
I hate country music.

so far, the only tolerable stations are 101.5, 101.3, 102.7 and 103.3

XM is the only way to go. Not just for the music, but other programs too.

I have Sirius, and besides not getting MLB it is much better than XM. but soon they will be one so it really don't matter

I like XM because they have Opie and Anthony. If you are going strictly for music, I don't think it really matters.

As for the merger, the Dept. of Justice approved it, so it isn't illegal. Just waiting on FCC approval. I couldn't care less about the merger...it sounds like it's good for the consumer because it's going to be the same price for more content. So really, who cares if they form a monopoly? I didn't plan on getting into the satellite radio business any time soon...were you?

i got it for x-mas one year,and i fell in love with it. as for a monopoly,no different than some oil companys merging a few years back.

It was packaged 6 months free on my Cobalt. I love it. You get so much more music. A couple of my friends have Sirius and there are some channels on that I would rather have, but again, it's a moot point because they're going to be the same company come December.

Because it gives the consumer NO CHOICES you ass. Then they can jack up the prices and there isnt shit you can do about it. Enjoy :)

If it was a monopoly, the DOJ wouldn't approve it. Since you can obviously see into the future, are there any other satellite radio companies out there? My guess is that with the popularity of it all, there will be more satellite radio companies coming. Remember way back when, when there was only one satellite tv company? Hmm...

Besides, what are you doing to prevent a monopoly? Bitching about it on topix.com ? I don't think that will work for ya. Enjoy :)

Yeah and remember when those two satellite tv companies tried to merge butthead. Hmmm lets see it wasnt allowed and there are still only two of them. My guess, seeing as how I am able to see in the future and all is this .... Who really gives a shit anyway. You do have a good argument and I respect that. No more "bitching" Enjoy :)

As for the price they are not going to jack it up. People willn't pay more than 10-12 bucks a month for radio. It will never go above 10-12 bucks a month.
