Texas Outlaw BBQ Honest opinions...

Anyone that has an HONEST opinion of either the food or the service of Texas Outlaw BBQ in Elizabethtown, I would really like to hear it.If you have had good or bad experiences, were you treated well or terrible.  If you are a current or former employee, I would like your take on this restaurant.My question really is why Texas Roadhouse across the street is ALWAYS packed and this place has trouble.  Please help if you can.

I love their ribs better than any other place in town. It cost a little more but I think the food is well worth it. My better half likes the roadhouse more because she doesn't like the full ribs vs the baby back ribs but she also doesn't know bbq.lol It's all a matter of personal taste.

two high prices not enough to cover plate people will pay but don't get enough on plate won't come back your help should all be happy to work there i they are not get shut of them that place could make the owner $100.000.00 to 150k a year profit

I absolutely LOVE the food at Texas Outlaws. The service is alright. I worked there several years ago, and the owner's wife is a c*nt!

I bought a catfish sandwich and the bun was moled. So I ask for a new one and 30 sec later they brought it back. The bottom bun was moled too. They just changed the top bun and left the bottom one. I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN THERE AGAIN. TEXASROAD HOUSE ALL THE WAY.

I think it's spelled mold and molded. I know I'm gonna sound like a jerk but I'm really not trying to be.lol

I given that place the benefit of the doubt about 3 times but have been repeatedly disappointed. I enjoy the guy that sings on the weekends; however, they aren't getting another penny from me. The service is the absolute WORST ever!!! The times I've been there it hasn't been packed so there's no excuse for poor customer service. The food has been okay - not bad, not great. The service is the deal breaker here.

I am smart enough to go to TEXAS ROADHOUSE where the food is better. You can have the moled or "MOLD". Just turn on the lights so people can see the food. I will never step foot in there again.

why are the lights so low in there. I hate the place just for that reason!!!

I like Texas Outlaw, the food has always been good when I have gone there. Texas Roadhouse is a chain, so they are going to get more business just because the people are more familiar with it. Texas Outlaw's location is also not so good. They are way off of the road which makes it hard to see.

*used to work there-the owners are crazy!!! i am sure they have been reported but somehow always weasel their way out of trouble!?! not sure how they are still open//their food is not actually so bad but it's too damn dark/expensive and weird!! they definitely do NOT care about their customers or employees--would not recommend eating or working there!

did not care too much for the service at the bar area seemed like the waitress's personal life was more important then the job they were being paid to do... had to stop them and interupt two of the girls I think one maybe name was stacey the other adrianne just to ask for a refill on my drink. the food was pretty good though even though the prices were high.

This is not real bbq. Real bbq does not nnef to be covered in sauce. However they have yummy sweet potato fries and service is hit or miss. I have been there 10-15 times over the last 3 years.

I love the food there. Never found a finger nail or a hair in my food like others have. I haven't even ate chewing gum out of any of the pulled pork that they have there. But the only problem I have had is the fact that this is not about me or anyone other than my 8 year old grandson. He had a 66 Dodge charger in John Hamm's barn located at 6378 Leitchfield rd. Cecilia, ky. John took his car and we dont know where he put it.........If anyone has info please reply back......... this has nothing to do with me or anyone other than Cody. He is very sad over his car being stolen from him by John Hamm. HOw could anyone do that to a lil boy. we bought the car for him before he was born. We have pictures of him with his dream car. Now his dream has been stolen. If you are low enough to steal from a child you are capable of anything. Cody has tried to call John and he wont answer. What if it was your child, how would you feel. John you are getting ready to be a dad is that how you will allow your child to be treated. Cody has not ever done anything to you for you to take his dream car. You work buy your own car. I thought you were working a program of recovery. God judges us all and all i want is his car that you stole from him. It seems the only program you are working is robbing children. That's odd, did you know that I just happen to be looking for one? It didn't give you heartburn did it? I couldn't imagine trying to pass that in a bowel movement. I will say a prayer for you, your bowels and the car for sure.
