Thank you Max! I have been setting up at the Kenton Nationals since 1981 and was devastated when I got the news of canceling the event. Four generations of my family had lots in Traders Row and always thought the event would continue forever. Hard to understand the decision to close due to the economy when when I know how many people have always participated in this event over Labor Day weekend. Wishing Max McClure the best of luck and appreciate his efforts to keep an event like this going on that weekend. I know it will be a great success!

mccluers farm is always the best palce to have a swap meet and such, they are friendly and really keep the place nice looking

We am from WV and we have been going for years and years. Dont know what happened to Kenton but you know due to the economy we needed Kenton more than ever. I hope Lima continues and builds and builds. We went this year and it was wonderful.

theres a mccluers swap meet this weekend on 309 5 miles east of lima,
same ppl mostly and more hunting and farm equipment free admission!!!!! great finds!!!!!! |

Think this was better than Kenton, and the entertainment was an added bonus and a very good time, I will go with my husband next year for sure.

hey they also have a swap meet in may the first weekend at thier farm on 309, its getting bigger every year and more ppl and great finds,
dont forget them may and sept are thier swap meets and i dont know if they will do the water dog races again or not but i sure hope it was a blast out there at the fair grounds |
