Gee, I can't believe that was a scam. It sounds so legit and everything. The whole idea of spending thousands of your own dollars on stuff based on a shady website's promise to pay you $5000 for doing virtually nothing seems like such a reasonable scenario.
Oh, and in a completely unrelated story...SC ranks 48th in average SAT scores...shocking!

paid shopping on their money is not a scam. take the stuff back with the receipt. must be missing a lot to this story... send in the receipts with report and get paid for time not purchases. been there done that and it was not that much income just some free food and stuff.

There is no such thing as working from home by taking surveys, secret shoppers, etc. You may make a few bucks here and there, but you have to work 24/7 to make an actual living. Just get a real job. Go work at McDonalds, or Burger King. You'll make more money at those places than you will with stupid jobs like that. It's your own fault you're too lazy to find a real job.

She's just ignorant. You can tell by her poor grammar, along with her sorry judgment. I don't know that she would be intelligent enough to work at McDonald's anyway. Legitimate mystery shopping companies don't work this way and she should have known better.

If your only a one income family why the hell would you go spending over $4,000.00 on cloth you can't afford. What is she 12? Like John Stossel would say, "Give me a break."

Doesn't have the time, gumption, or skills to get a job but she'll shop at the drop of someone else's dime! What an idiot! Maybe she'd be willing to lie on her back for some easy cash?

The business may be in Canada but the crime happened in Richland County. The agency where the crime occurred handles the case.

How old are you?? I work with people everyday who have are in debt and have collection agencies breathing down their neck. This woman was trying to do what she thought was, the only thing she could do to contribute to the family income. Not everyone is able to work outside the home. Children need daycare and daycare is expensive. So shame on you for laughing at this poor soul. We should all be wondering how to send her money to help her out not "LMAO" at her. I pray to God that you do not end up in her shoes one day.
