Elgin High School student stabs teacher in classroom, cops say

South Elgin High School teacher was threatened with a knife in class too in the last couple school days

The kids of today are viewing too much violence from TV and video games. The sight of blood and gore does not affect them. Future killer psycho's are being bread.

Even more shocking, this same kid was apprehended last summer after beating and RAPING an 8 year old girl! The Elgin police chief then decided to "end Elgin p.d. involvement in the case" release the kid, and not warn the school! It was a very bad error in judgement by the Elgin police chief. The school is not to blame that a known, violent, sexual preditor is unleashed upon them without warning by an unconcerned police chief. The teacher would not have been in the situation of the attack if the Elgin police chief had taken this previous attack more seriously. This kid, like all other sexual preditors are not supposed to be allowed anywhere near a school let alone inside of it!

I just read where this kid is being considered for early release because of good behavior while in captivity. WHAT ARE THEY THINKING?

I went to public school in the 80's and this was not happening. My child will be going to private school. Remove all this low income housing in the suburbs and keep the trash in the city.
