I agree, I go to a school within the same district, and we have had stricter rules put into place, mostly about tardies. Our new tardy policy is you get a 2-hour detention if you're late to a class just once. Everyone is complaining about it, and we see it as unfair. I can't imagine how strict they are getting at EHS over it. I will be attending EHS next year, and I have a friend who is nervous because she now seems to think it's a somewhat bad school. I disagree, because it's the one student that now ruined the whole school's reputation.
