I want to come home

I just want to say that I was raised in Tn. until I was 17 and left and came to Ia.
At first I hated it and missed home. I lived there 33 yrs. I never never wanted to return to Tn. NEVER. However I had to come back here to take care of a family member who wanted to come home to Tn to die. He passed away almost 2 yrs ago.
I want to come back so bad. The Quad Cities is a wonderful place and I miss it so bad. But I have put a lot in to the home that my uncle bought before he died that is now mine. I am torn between selling and coming back home or staying here because this is my first home. Every day I miss Ia. Everyday I have to deal with idiots. Sorry but that is the way Tn is. This part of Tn. is bad. Dirty, nasty, people that really have no common sense. And CHURCHES. OMG you are inundated with churches here. Everything is church church church.
The QC is a great place to live and I miss it so much. There is nothing left here for me. All the family is gone so I don't know why I am still here. I felt that something was holding me here. I do not know what. I hate this place so much. Yet I can not bring myself to sell and go back home to Ia. Why? Please help me get back to my home. The great state of IA. I miss it so!

After almost 4 yrs I am still stuck here. It is a terrible thing to be home sick. I miss the QC very much. Trying to get back. Have 2 homes to sell and the economy is not good so I think I am really stuck here.
Tn. Or W Tn. is the worst place a person could be. There is nothing here. We have one shitty walfart and thats it! Nearest places are Jackson (1 hr drive) or Memphis. Who wants to go to Memphis?
I want to come home so bad. I was in Ia for over 30 yrs and this will ALWAYS BE MY HOME. I miss it so bad!

I am from Iowa and am stuck in TN! I know how you feel. If it's an option for you, get out and go back. People always talk about southern hospitality but I see none. Everyone has a chip on their shoulder when they find out you are a "Yankee". I have been here two years and still don't know anyone. I think we may be living in the same area, I am an hour from Jackson. NOTHING here..lol Go back.:)

Take time to "understand". The "Trade". An excange between "individuals", which induces one to "Choose a Path of Action".Churches have been "INVADED by DECEPTION". That which you describe is a division of the results, which have been "Created thru Politically Correct Language".
