Outrageous Electric Bills

I don't know about anyone else, but my bill is so high i can't afford to pay it. Twice the amount a friend of mine pays with 2 units and a house that is almost 3 times the size of mine. I have an asmatic child living in the home and has to have her meds daily by machine that is electric. What do ya do? Go crazy trying to figure a way to pay it and hoping that every prayer is answered and they don't disconnect AGAIN?

i also have an asthmatic child that takes breathing treatments, i also have to take them. our power has been surging for months and we could not figure out why, because we just had our home re wired about 7 months ago. i called the electric dept. and they came out and repaired a wire outside on the pole. it has not surged since. problem here is the opp utilities board has everything wrapped around there fingerr and they are getting away with murder. they should give people a chance more than one time being late, but they don't care if you llive or die aas long as they get their money! I have and oxegen machine i needdue to being terminally ill. Personally some thing needs to be done. maybe starting a patition, protesting and sending this to the govoners office. i have lived other places in covington county, and this town is the only one that does this!!!

I am also tired of the high electric bills .I have been hanging my clothes on the line and using only a t.v., lamp and occasional ceiling fan at night . I sleep during the day so nothing is running . Still my bill is $400 . Only 2 people live here . Explain that . Maybe we are all paying for pretty fences and remodeling "certain" sidewalks in town. I totally agree that this needs to be checked out by the governors office. They can charge what they want and they know we "Have" to pay .
