It appears that the two sites right next to the four dry docks have been successfully cleaned up and their cases closed. The one remaining site close to the dry docks is along railroad ave. at 17th street. I’m actually surprised to see that the dock area had very few areas that needed to be cleaned up.
The drydocks have never had any "contamination" problems from work processes outside of normal housekeeping tasks during and after a use. They were always certified as "clean" as a prerequisite to the next flooding evolution. There are probably some unresolved issues at the location of the original Paint Shop just East of drydock 2, but the drydocks are ready to use, and Allied is bringing the shipyard back to life.
