I've got your gravy train swinging. I'm a Korean War veteran who served with honor and pride. It's time for me to sit back and reap the rewards of all I gave for this country. I even took out three Koreans one night with my jeep when they got too close and were sucked up into the wheel well. We pulled those Marines out of the Chosin Reservoir when they had there you know what's hanging out. OS get off my back and earn your own gravy or meatballs or whatever your bag is.

Too bad they didn't teach you to spell. True patriots serve for the sake of serving. Not for the mistical gravy train you are crying about. I'm not on your back. You said you think you are entitled to some gravy train. I'm calling your fake assss out. The only gravy train you get is your welfare and foodstamps.

I thought Jeep wheel wells were designed to suck up only one Korean at a time. How did you remove them?

Thank you for your service....now..what does that have to do with Ms. Martinez' dedication to the citizens of New Mexico? Give her the respect she deserves...dude. You have our respect, as a veteran. She deserves her day...and our respect. After all, she won, the majority of the New Mexican registered voting public are the one's that put her in the Gov office. Geez...chill...

If what you hope happens that will be a good thing, if not..well all I can say is "Martin Luther King had a dream too". Shelia wrote: <quoted text> I think she's just lovely. She will do a crackerjack job and turn the state back into a haven of goodness and beauty. Yes, she will deport all the illegals and stop the handouts to them as well. I can finally get a good night's sleep tonight knowing that my state is safe and in her capable hands. She may run for national office soon in which case she will make us all proud as we cheer the first Latina governor as she moves up. Viva la Susanna!

So how is that all working out for New Mexico? The way Obama was supposed to fix overnight all of the problems Bush left for him, surely Martinez has turned NM into a virtual oasis in the desert. I am sure she has solved all of the states problems by now. 0% unemployment, scholastic achievement through the roof, lower state taxes, no potholes, corruption, graft or crime. Man the Republicans sure are perfect! Why do we even have a 2nd party?!?!?!? Could be worse though, you could be Wisconsin!

I'm not sure it really matters. We'll always have a "ruling class" who are going to do what they want regardless of the wishes of the citizenry. And I'm thinkin we're not part of it. So we work, soak...have a few beers. And hope it doesn't get so bad we have to go to Mexico to find work.

Martinez can't accomplish anything because the NM legislature and the NM courts are controlled by Dems. It was a surprise that the Democratic female candidate for gov. was not elected. I am sure the Democratic party of NM learned their lesson. They will work hard to get more dead people, illegals, and out-of-state residents to vote the straight NM Democratic ticket in future elections.

I was wondering about something in your post, but then I decided to read it. If The Governor would just call our senators and congress people back from washington everything would be fine in New Mexico. We need people in Washington that represent the people in New Mexico, we don't have that so there is no real reason to leave them there.

With ABSOLUTELY NO id of any kind required to vote, voter fraud is bound to happen. It is my opinion that we need to have some form of voter id in NM. NM Dems consistently argue against voter id. Their point is that an id requirement will disenfranchise people who are likely to vote for Dems. The Dem opposition to a change in voting requirements makes me think that massive fraud has been happening on the Dem side. I recognize that fraud could happen on the Rep side as well. Because the Dems control NM, I will just have to live with the fact that NM elections result in something other than one vote per one living resident. It is our Democratic (party) system.

I am sure that is what it is: all that voting fraud. It is not that the majority of voters educated beyond the GED or 9th grade level find the Republican's divisive, bigoted, regressive, anti-worker, anti woman, pro-corporate welfare and wall street banker/looter, pro war, pro oil, anti environment, policies repugnant. DO NOT BECOME A MORE INCLUSIVE PARTY, just blame all the dead people who are voting for the "libs".
