I am related to the turley family as well. My mother's maiden name is Cecilia Vigil we live in Utah. And if you would like to know more about the treasure stories just ask Adrian or Eddie vigil. I have been researching Juan de Dios Vigil and Maria Encarnacion Marquez for Yvette's uncles. I knew that they were the parents of Francisquita Vigil de Montoya and that she had two sisters. Maria Sara and Maria Sofia. Last night I found out that there were two brothers and another sister (who died as an infant). The brothers were Jose Ramon who married Maria Esquipula LeBlanc in Antonito, CO on 7 Jan 1889. The other brother was Tomas Vigil who was married twice. 1. Maria Anastacia Sena, 10 Oct 1892. 2. Adelina Chavez, 16 Feb 1920. Maria Lugarda born in Jan 1977 died on 12 March 1977. I now gather that Sara and Sofia were daughters of Juan de Dios Vigil and Bibiana Valdez. Does anyone know the marriage date of Juan Vigil and Bibiana Valdez? Also birthdates for Sara and Sofia. I have the names of some of the spouses of the other children of Simeon Turley and Maria Rosa Romero. A little lesson here: it should be Maria Rosa Romero de Vigil. That shows that her maiden name was Romero and married to a Vigil. When you show it as Maria Rosa Romero y Vigil, they you are saying that her father's surname was Romero and her mother's surname Vigil. I would like to here from anyone posting on this web. Did your grandfather have a brother named Ernest Vigil?
