Is this the same Lawrence Barreras who contributed $500.00 to Richardson’s campaign in 2006 and listed his occupation as Consultant NCA Architects and who contributed $250.00 to Teague’s campaign in 2008 and listed his occupation as architect?

It is the same Lawrence Barreras. Only he gave much more money to the governor than that, or at least he was credited with giving much more-- probably hidden in false names or straw men. A little detective work might be in order.

Yes, it is the same one. From what I have been told by people close to the governor's campaign, he has brought in quite a bit of money through "fundraising efforts". Also, we should look at how much he brought in to Bill's first run for governor in 2002. Bill doesn't do favors for free-- pay to play. Remember, it was in 2003, after being elected, that Bill cleaned out his bad personnel file at Corrections, arranged for him to "resign" from his job that he had been fired from six years earlier, and gave him his new appointed job at CYFD-- he didn't last long there, before he and his attorney, who he had hired as a deputy were forced to resign.

Also, interesting he would pose as an architect, something he clearly is not. Who is NCA architects? Have they been linked to any "political activities"? If they really had Lawrence Barreras on the payroll, why would they hire an incompetent like him? Also, why would he list his occupation as consultant or architect when he was really working for NMDOT? Was he or is he doing "work" on the side and not reporting this? Lots of questions that need answers.

Hmmm... It sounds like Ms. Heild could write several stories on this Barreras character. I'd like to know more about his ties to the governor and why the governor keeps helping this guy out. As was said, the governor does nothing for free. Looks like fertile ground for a good investigative reporter.

Hey Lawrence-- Since we know you are out there reading this, why don't you tell us about the Lujan interchange. We would love to hear your viewpoint on it. And while you are at it, why don't you tell us how you feel about the things that have been posted here about you and Gary Giron. Is there any thing you take issue with? And while you are at it, tell us how you are going to find out and deal with the snitch employees? Maybe you could throw in a couple of more threats to get them in line. That should work. We'll be waiting.
Oh, one more thing-- I am sure Colleen Heild will be contacting you for a comment. I wish I could be there to hear what you have to say when she confronts you with all she has been told.
say anything to colleen. he's a chicken shit. and on top of being a chicken shit he's uneducated and cannot form an educated sentence on his own behalf. so, what he'll tell colleen is "no comment" or something to that effect. ha ha ha. you mark my words. that will be his response. and so, because he will say "no comment" that will only confirm whatever it is colleen is questioning him about.
if it is

that the governor had SPO clean out his record, well that is a crime. on richardson part and on the director of SPO. you can't clean someone's State Personnel Record. It's against the law. So, Colleen if you're reading these comments, look into that too. look into richardson's part in this alleged crime and also look into who was the SPO director at the time because he/she too committed a crime by doing that. IT's one thing to be loyal to your boss, ie the $bill, but its another to break the law for your boss. If your boss want you to do something illegal, don't be so stupid as to do it.

I think this is just to intimidate him. No reason for the road, or it going thru his place, at all. Let him keep his grant land.

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Taurus

Be careful if you're supposed to be saving money, because it's likely to fly through your fingers in no time at all today. You're open to all sorts of delicious impulses now, such as splashing out your hard- earned cash on little treats or big purchases. Indulgence is the key here, and you'll also want to push the boat out if you're going to a restaurant for a meal. You'll work your way through the menu, regardless of the cost.
