Oh,I'm sorry for offended you. I'll send them to you right away. Some people, especially my fellow gym rats, think I'm too skinny for my big head. But I don't want to bulk up like them and then turn into a butterball if I stop working out and continue eating too much. Now THAT would be offensive.

Give a cop a new toy and he'll want to use it on everybody. I read that there were several cops there at the time and they even had a little time to discuss what to do. WHY they chose such a serious action rather than taking a step back and TALKING to her is unbelievable. They could have even left the house. What's the worst that would happen? She didn't invite them in!

Yes, granny may have had a knife. But did granny slip outa bed and CHARGE YOU? The big bad cop who tasered her and all those who stood idly by should be ashamed of themselves.

Something is really wrong with a society that turns it's back on their elders. However, this IS one example where Karma works exceedingly well. Treat old-folks badly and you're likely to die alone in your-own feces in a smelly, dimly-lit room. Have fun with your Taser.

I'm thinking if you pull a weapon on a cop, the cop will protect him or herself. Sounds like he protected her from more harm.

Minimum education and IQ requirements for cops need to be raised. These sadistic idiots are too dangerous to carry a badge.

Old people don't want to leave their homes, and will do practically anything to stay there. However, how hard is it to control a lady in her 80's, who's laying down_her reflexes are so slow, they should of had plenty of time to grab her?And as far as throwing the knife, it probably wouldn't even reach the officer.

As the city's attorney defending against this baseless law suit I will simply argue that granny had gone into cardiac arrest, and the police officer's heroic actions saved her life via impromptu defibrillation.
