I think your 1st point is correct. But Paul's oft stated platform is no government funded welfare, SS, or health care. A Paul administration will cut all entitlements, Paul says, irregardless of economic prosperity.

You forgot to say he is an isolationist, a racist and believes in no government as those are the other misconceptions that are spewed by folks like yourself.

Not true, not even close.

He will continue with such programs as SS, but will allow young people to opt out. He will bring our troops home from all over the world, cut all foreign aid and use those saving to actually take care of Americans, instead of the rest of the world.

If we quit acting as policemen of the world, we actually could take care of Americans without financing it on the backs of future generations.
